Hello! I have this grass in the back of my yard that is super fun to walk on, stays green through anything, doesn’t grow super tall, and weeds hardly come up through it. Trying to ID it so I can overseed with it next year.
Hey everyone! I'm u/Stevo32792, a moderator of r/Boradors. Recently the subreddit was taken over by bots which absolutely destroyed the community. Reddit Admins ended up taking control of the subreddit, and both u/spyeagle100 and myself were assigned as the new moderators. Rest assured we are back to being a community about Boradors, and want to welcome everyone to the community (or back to the community if you left during the bot takeover).
This is a community about Boradors. Boradors are a mixed breed dog made up of Border Collies and Labradors. We understand that Boradors come in all shapes and sizes, so if you think you have a Borador, feel free to post about them! If you don't have a Borador but just love them, you're welcome too! Feel free to join and browse the subreddit, ask questions, and comment on all the great posts about Boradors!
What to Post
Post anything related to Boradors! Want to introduce us to your Borador? Make a post! Want to share a picture you love of your Borador? Make another post! Want to share a photo of your Borador's birthday? Post it! Want to ask if your dog might be a Borador? Give us a photo and ask! Want to ask questions about Boradors? Ask away! Almost nothing is off the table if it involves a Borador, but we do ask that you read and follow the rules when creating a post!
Community Vibe
We want this community to be friendly, welcoming, and inclusive. We're all dog lovers here, and all dogs deserve love.
How to Get Started
A Few Small Changes
There are a few small changes with the community and how it operates compared to before the bot takeover. We now have a set of rules, flair, a some cosmetic changes. The discussion highlight has been removed, feel free to create a post for discussion instead of using the old discussion post/thread. Photos and video are now allowed in comments, previously they were not.
Thanks for being part of us rebuilding the community. Let's make r/Boradors a place full of happy doggos!
Hello everyone! I'm excited to announce I am the other moderator recently assigned to support this community! I'm happy we have the community back after a few months of spam posts. I hope we can all go back to having a chill sub where we can share photos and have discussions about our Boradors!
Koda is my Borador, and he is 10 years old as of May. I got him as a rescue when he was two, and we've had one heck of an 8 years so far! He was surrendered for aggression, was put on a euthanize list for a highly resistant bladder and prostate infection, but with a lot of work and patience he has become healthy, happy, friendly, and one heck of a goofball.
Adding some content, my old man Koda taking a nap.
I’m trying to figure out how to fasten the Velcro straps on the non-hopper side of my Searwood xl cover. Them and the front straps don’t seem to have anything to fasten to and I feel crazy. The cover also doesn’t cover the bottom shelf. Anyone have photos or a video of how to install this thing?
Wanting to move my Protect application off my UCG-Max due to performance issues and onto a dedicated device for home use. I was decided on the UNVR, but the NVR-G2 announcement has me a bit hesitant. Is there any reason to not consider the original NVR anymore? Are there any performance issues with the original NVR which would push me towards the G2?
I don't plan to use the viewport, and I don't believe the AI features are useful for me given the low traffic outside my rural neighborhood home.
I have 6 x G5 Ultras, 1 x G6, and 1 x Doorbell lite. I could potentially upgrade to G6 cameras at some point, and maybe add one or two more cameras.
All cameras stream to Scrypted/Apple Home.
Edit: Thanks for the feedback everyone, went with the original UNVR!
