Has Qatar University paused hiring for all kinds of roles?
If there’s anyone who’s had any update about their pending application now since the summer term has ended, I’d be happy to connect.
Does Qatar University ask for documents from all shortlisted candidates post the panel interview? Or just the preferred candidate? And does it reflect the same in hiring across all companies in Qatar in general?
After a couple of interviews (including panel), I was asked to send documents (cover letter, diplomas, transcripts, LORs, reference check forms, employment verification letter, passport copy).
Someone from the department had asked to send the docs to them so that they can cross-check before the department submitted them to higher management (as it was a holiday week).
It is my understanding (from everything I’ve seen online) that they ask these docs from all candidates shortlisted post the final interview. Is this true?
No way to assume if one is the preferred candidate right?
When I sent a follow-up email to the person (who cross-checked my documents), they said since QU’s off for the summer, they’ll get to know in early September. “Rest assured we will be in touch once we know more”.
Thoughts?

I understand that processing via higher management takes a while but I was hoping to get an idea of how long.
Their careers site shows no available positions as of today, whereas I saw quite a few just 2 days back. What I see on the careers site is as of 3:20 AM of 30th July. Could it be a monthly thing going on atm?
