Ghosting
It took me many years to reflect on that, and I would like your opinion, especially from a diverse forum like Reddit. Is it cultural in NZ for most Kiwis to ghost people? Like many cultures, it is normal to have conversations, arguments, and disagreements, and people tend to confront or respond even though they dislike the situation, but they prefer to have a response. Here in NZ, it seems that at any little chance, people prefer to ghost each other. This extends to simple things like resolving a problem with a neighbour, the job market, friendships, dating, and more.
What I realised is that the only time Kiwis don't ghost each other is in professional spaces where a company is obliged to provide you with a service, and therefore they need to face the problem. Even though sometimes smaller organisations may still ghost customers if they can.
