Ghosting

It took me many years to reflect on that, and I would like your opinion, especially from a diverse forum like Reddit. Is it cultural in NZ for most Kiwis to ghost people? Like many cultures, it is normal to have conversations, arguments, and disagreements, and people tend to confront or respond even though they dislike the situation, but they prefer to have a response. Here in NZ, it seems that at any little chance, people prefer to ghost each other. This extends to simple things like resolving a problem with a neighbour, the job market, friendships, dating, and more.

What I realised is that the only time Kiwis don't ghost each other is in professional spaces where a company is obliged to provide you with a service, and therefore they need to face the problem. Even though sometimes smaller organisations may still ghost customers if they can.

With Track Map and Fuel Calc in iRacing, I'm almost ditching my overlays, maybe just need a better 'standings widget' with more information now?

Is anyone else excited to ditch addon overlays? I'm the type of player who prefers using what's available in the core of the game rather than relying on multiple addons.

Funny story - I protested someone and end up protested by iRacing Stewards

I'm too lazy to post the replay here, but the story is I was driving GT3 at Road Atlanta, while this guy was driving GTP. He left the pit with me, and we ended up side by side at the pit lane exit. He entered the pit from the far right, and I could never see him. I swore in the mic 'f idiot'. He gets angry and slows me down, then brakes checks for another 4 turns, affecting me and another GT3 behind me. I then protested to him for slowing down intentionally, brake-checking.

RESULT: iRacing says they haven't found him doing that intentionally, then I receive another email for a voice chat violation protest.

Thinking initially it was the guy I reported, I went looking into the email details, actually, it wasn't. The protest was raised by iRacing, using my own recording file as proof of my own voice violation! LOL!

Out of curiosity, what do you do with wheel visibility?

As most of us have our rig, with wheel and screen in front of our eyes, there wouldn't be a logical reason to show the wheel in the game because you have yours in front of you; however, some cars have their displays on the wheel, therefore removing the wheel removes all information available.

What do you do? Do you keep the wheel visible for the sake of others like me?
No, I don't have a physical dashboard, and no money for that yet.

Please advise on wheel type

Since I started Sim Racing, I have been driving with a GT wheel (Simagic Gt-Neo Wheel). Apart from GT, I have been racing some other stuff like Trucks, NASCAR, and Truck Simulator. Do you think it is worth buying a round wheel? A second-hand came up with a good price and wondering if it is worth it or am I being too precious about it?
