SoT RP in development!
Thank you for letting us know that a roleplay component is indeed needed in the SoT community. We are currently revisiting our previous work and updating the Discord server. We would welcome anyone interested in helping to develop adventure scenarios and configure the Discord server We would welcome fresh perspectives on the game's lore or personal stories that could serve as the basis for storylines involving the server's players. (As this is intended to be a multinational project, we ask that everyone refrain from political or national bias and personal attacks against other participants)
If you are interested in the Discord server topic or want to help, send a private message
Why did KF2's patches run out less than a year after The Last Stand update?
How much longer will we have to wait for the game's size to be reduced? Helldivers 2 accomplished this, Starbreeze is preparing a similar update for Payday2 along with an engine update to Diesel 3.0, and many others are mastering game size reduction and making engine improvements. Will something similar be implemented for Killing Floor 2? It's clear that KF3 isn't yet producing the desired results in development. Why don't the guys at TWI follow SE's lead and release a couple more patches for KF2 to fix most of the remaining bugs and possibly roll back some of the perk changes?
The last minor hotfix was made in May 2024
Would anyone be interested in trying out RolePlay in Season 20?
My friends and I tried to create an RP project for SoT In some ways it was a successful experiment. Back when we had connections with fellow SoT streamers, who could provide us dedicated servers were only available to them. We'd rent servers and create our own scripted TTs, like D&D but more action-packed. At some point, we lost contact with content creators, and our small community's online presence began to decline. While we were trying to recruit new players, but the HG season was just getting ready to launch, and most players at the time were simply interested in beating each other up and to tell the truth they are still doing this. The idea was put on hold until better times. Is it worth reviving it now in Season 20 with its expanded toolkit but given the significant drop in online presence? Should we look for solo players or recruit newcomer players teams? Are there any players left who are tired of pointlessly fighting for skins and want to enjoy the game in its "twilight"?
