California, taxes/dmv is rough.

Vehicle was 48 (wireless charge, all weather and cloth floor mats, lighting accents), taxes/dmv was 6, 1500 on oil changes for life of car (well see), 2500 on 8/80 warranty.

Lifetime oil changes when I go to the Subaru dealer and 96M/80k miles, it was 50 bucks more a month., what's 50 to 720. I said f it.l, add it, it my wifes car and I dont want issues with it

Total interest paid over life is going to be 1600-ish.

I left Carmax behind with a 2023 Ascent Touring w/ 37k miles for 650/month over 6 years(8.5%). (Something like that).

I hear Ascent CVT fail often., anyone get theirs repaired/replaced using MaxCare?

Looking at a 2020 Touring for 18k w/ 111k miles. MaxCare is +3k and it covers to 150k miles or 3 years.

We would be driving this less than. 12k/year., after 2-3, we are looking to buy a newer TX350 (wife has 14 months left to finish her masters) but I want a high IIHS rated vehicle for my family.

Also, I plan on doing maintenance myself., will this void their terms on the extra warranty?
