Does anybody know what the pale speckled look on some of the older leaves are from? On day 12. Had some issues with higher light intensity that seems to be correcting itself after I adjusted the intensity back down. No noticeable pest issues aside from some fungus gnats a few days ago that I treated with WDG3000 and has generally settled since.
I’ve got 3 fresh earthboxes ready to go with BAS 3.0, Craft blend, Buildafower top cover, Gnarly Barley, Kashi Gold, and rootwise mycrobe complete and bio elixir.
My question is do i need to top dress all of these when i initially build the earthbox, or rather just start with the 3.0/craftblend/buildaflower/rootwise? Any harm in mounding the soil early on with everything?
Also, if I’m planning to transplant in 3-4 days, what’s the reccomended timing on setting the earthboxes up and letting them pre moisten and “cook”? I know the guide says what it says… Any additional perspective/real experience is always appreciated. Thanks as always
had some initial stretching that I think is causing the stems to start leaning like this. Just started to get this lean in the least 24 hours.
Anything I can do, or just let them be since the new leafs are all growing upward?
After some initial etiolation, at day 8 I’ve got these ladies are sitting much prettier at ~300ppfd with the tent dialed in around .9vpd.
Curious if anybody has insight or recommendations from these photos, and tips on watering for the next week or two. Currently have them in build a soil light. Thanks!
Just hit hour 48 and am having trouble deciding if the soil needs some more water.
I lightly top watered the BAS light with my chapin after planting the seeds on Thursday, and have left them in the humidity dome with the vents shut since. Using the mini leds at 20% on an 18/6 light cycle. I also have the heat mat going at 10% to keep the temps above 70. It feels like the soils started to dry out slightly, at least compared to the other day.
Would you recommend giving them a bit of water today, or leaving them until the seeds pop?
Day zero officially kicked off with 6 seeds of Zkunk from Grounded Genetics. Currently running them under the humidity dome with the mini LEDs and the heat mat due to colder temperatures I was seeing with the EVO6 light and humidifier currently being off. They’re planted in BAS light.
As you can comically see, I went with the all AC Infinity setup. The 4x4 pro bundle along with the T5 humidifier. I’ve been running it in advanced mode last few days, and the environment seemed to be dialed in on the dry run.
In a few days, my plan is to pick two which will go into separate earthboxes. I’ll be running all BAS and rootwise products. Planning to also alternate drzymes and em-5 for early ipm.
I’ll post updates as things progress! I’d love to hear from anyone with general suggestions/tent improvements (I know I have some wire organizing to do still), or experience using the earthboxes 🌱
