Currently making a 2 player PvP recreation of Pac-Man for an arcade cabinet I'm building soon. My first playable version is here!

I'll also be implementing unique player abilities to use during gameplay, such as rewinding time, drilling through a wall, summoning a fifth ghost, etc. Shown here is a basic round of gameplay between myself (ghosts) and a younger sibling (Pac-Man), albeit with potentially imbalanced match settings. The second round shows the custom maze capabilities (this one was drawn out by the same younger sibling), and an editor will be made eventually. Any feedback or ideas for the future are much appreciated!

Note: the 'loading' screen at the beginning was artificially extended to allow time to set up the screen recording. The audio garbling in the second round seems to be a problem with the recording, not the game.

Would there be any interest in an Among Us port?

I'm interested in potentially developing one myself, as I've seen that existing projects all seem to be incomplete/abandoned. Would there be much interest? Would be crucial, as the nature of the game requires quite a few players. I'd also consider adding extra features such as custom roles, new use of the touchscreen (think pictochat, but in meetings), download play support, and bots to fill in lobbies or for singleplayer use. If this existed, would you play?

Mobile impostor mod?

I'm on android. I need a mod that allows me to increase odds/guarantee that I will be impostor. I'm tired of going upwards of 30 games between imp matches. However, I still need to be able to use open chat without rooting my phone. Preferably, I need just this, no other mod/cheat features. Cheats being just a button away are hard to ignore, and I don't want to cheat.

Has anyone tried making their own games for their arcade?

I'm currently building a 2-player PvP version of Pac-Man using PyGame since my family likes the OG Pac-Man but it's kind of a lonely game. Wondering if anyone else has done something similar and, if so, whether they'd be willing to share. I would be happy to share my Pac-Man once it's finished.

Impostor role idea - "parasite"

When you kill a crewmate, they instead kill you, teleporting to your position and making your body fall. Immediately after, you take over the crewmate's form until you kill another crewmate (same effect happens) or are ejected during a meeting.

Pros and cons:

- Crewmate information is skewed, hard clear could no longer apply, alibis are messed up, and fellow impostors clearing you would be further defended or have their own suspicion separated from your own.

-Your information has to be well utilized. In meetings, your alibi might no longer line up with where people saw the crewmate, your mannerisms when speaking or moving could be detected, and someone who's hard cleared being seen killing would immediately be found out as the parasite instead of shapeshifter.
