there are a couple neos at Kelowna International. I’m not sure exactly why but they are at a hanger that does conversions and stripping. If i had to guess they are getting some maintenance done before being sold off to new owners.

i got some more ps2 games today and for some reason my copy of GT3 seems to have an issue. the disc looks immaculate but the game black screens and won’t load past the copyright screen. all the other games i’ve gotten don’t have this issue which makes me think it’s a issue with the disc itself. i’m pretty lost on what to try to fix it but i don’t think it’s the disc laser. any ideas?
I made a post not to long ago on this subreddit asking for help with a FMCB set up. I finally got the time to download gran turismo 4 on a usb stick but the game won’t boot up past the copyright screen. I’m not a computer person at all so this has all been new for me. Any ideas on why it might be happening? I’ve let it sit for over 30 minutes and it will still be on a black screen. I tried toggling mode 1 and 6 on the game settings to no avail

I picked up this ps2 fat today for only $25! everything works but I want to mod this thing. I’ve never modded a console, i’ve never jailbroke anything, and I dont really know computers that well. I’ve watched some “tutorials” but it’s like listening to a rocket science class, I don’t know what they are talking about. I know I need a freemcboot and a usb stick… not much else. So what do I actually need to do step by step to mod this thing? thanks
