Yeah I knew this wasn’t right. Uber needs to seriously ditch courier rides entirely. Dealers are using us to deliver their product.

Been doing UE exclusively since I got laid off four months ago and very quickly made it up to Diamond status and held that shit for over two months. In the last 48 hours I went from accepting damn near every sensible order I was sent to getting crazy orders, like $2 for a 16 mile trip. Today when I logged in I declined more orders than I took for that reason (pics included for reference). On Wednesday when I drove I was still Diamond, now I’m down to Gold. Are these guys trying to force me out?? I’ve had some issues that have gone unresolved thanks to Uber’s crack support team and I’m wondering if that played a factor in my downfall.

I usually let everyone know when I snag their order and my ETA, but opted out since it was about five minutes away for drop off. He had “meet at door” selected for his drop off. Being that it’s a Monday, it’s late, and he lived in a townhome, I cut my lights pulling up to park, waited a minute at the door before I gave a real soft knock on his door. I hear someone scream “FUCK” from inside among a bunch of other colorful expletives and he messages me this. I wish I screen capped the rest but I wanted to dip asap. “Fucking retard, who told you to do that? Just leave it and gtfo.” Left his shitty little Taco Bell order on the steps and messaged back “That’s on you for selecting meet at door,” and promptly fucked off. I reported his ass but I’ve got a good feeling Uber won’t do a thing about it.
