42RE Transmission pan leaking, removed and replaced filter, tried cardboard ACDELCO gasket and it ripped (too old thanks rockauto). Then tried Permatex Auto transmission gasket maker, followed directions, finger tightening then one hour and torqued TO 13 ft lbs then waited 24 hours. Leaking again

I followed directions etc and scraped, brake clean, everything but it leaked as soon as I filled up with 5 quarts

Any ideas?

They finally implemented 1 per customer which is the way it should have always been

At my store there was a guy who I know is a reseller (seen him post on Facebook marketplace Harbor Freight and Home Depot including sea foam that was like $1.70 and he’s trying to sell for $10 ) he tried to buy ALL of the 1/2 impacts there were three

So satisfying to see him get told the new policy and basically SORRY CARLOS

He begged and pleaded but the manager stood the ground when the cashier came over

An old man came in after and was able to get it
