While my headlights were apart i made a separate wireloom and drilled holes for extra t10 amber led bulbs to mount in the same position as indicators. Now i can turn on my ambers whenever i want!
Got myself extra pair of headlights yesterday, and today i slaughtered them to take lenses, actually really happy about it. Because lenses were in great shape. Mine is pretty blasted. Both mine and extras were Valeo headlight so i cant bake them to remove lenses and thats why i need extra pair.
I also found out today that oven cleaner removes chrome from plastic easily without damaging it. (My extra pair of headlights that i tried it on)
So as soon as i get all of things i need for the job i will remove my headlight from the car, brake the lense and paint everything exept high beam projector black. So stoked to finally begun this project!
Everything is connected and working, i am so pleased with how they turned out.
I hate the look of "ebay" foglights that are available for mk4, and wanted to make something unique. So i found out that bmw e36 foglights does match the shape of the bumper. And here we are. So stoked about how it turned out! Need to figure out yhe wiring and parts of the "vent" covers that are still open.
Just got my car back from a shop, new rockers and fenders! Love the rust free look!
Got myself a big boy bike couple of days ago, she is a fixer upper. Needs some tlc and repairs, mostly cosmetic tho! Will look for a fairing kit this winter.
But goddamn i love to ride this beauty!
Yesterday i finally did my interior swap on my 2.8 4m. Wanted to get rid of tan carpet and plastics. I am keeping my tan leather seats. Door cards need to be remade aswell. I will be using black door card with tan leather inserts!
