How big a drop in NBMEs is normal??

I’ve always felt very suspicious of my past NBME scores (all under near real test conditions), because my raw scores have been higher than I expected them to be each time,
My raw percentages have been;
27 - 69% (Sept 3rd)
28-72% (Sept 13th)
*I got busy with some personal stuff and didn’t study anything at alllll during this time, so had to skip NBME 29 (cuz I’m short on time and wanted to do the newer ones)*
30-75% (October 1st)
31-67% ( October 5th)

I didn’t even really get to finish NBME 31 and went 5 mins over for the last 5 questions but I counted them cuz I got a call in between that distracted me. My mind was blanking during this test and I could not get myself to read the question and actually register what they were saying in my brain at allll, and it felt like I just did not know the answers for most of the questions and I was really flustered.
I’m trying not to let this bring me down tooooo much but it does have me worried and concerned about whether I’m doing anything wrong and whether my previous NBMEs were flukes. I know the next NBMEs will show me where I’m trending and I shouldnt be too worried but I don’t know, should I be worried? I know some fluctuations expected, but does that still apply for such a big drop?

How much caffeine does a ready to drink huel black edition strawberry banana have?

It says 150mg green tea extract but do we know how much caffeine that equates to? I’m very sensitive to caffeine and would reallly appreciate any input, I couldn’t find any information on this. Gemini says 95mg but not sure if that sounds right to me :x
Thanksss !

NBME percentages?

Hi guys, I hope you’re all having an amazing Friday!
I’ve just given my first NBME (27), just under 2 months left to my step 1 and I feel super unprepared (only done 50% UW and a few BnB videos here and there)
NBME went better than expected but I felt like I was guessing through 80% of it.
I was doing it offline (cuz I honestly can’t afford it and I’ve bought the newer NBMEs properly) and I got 136 correct. I read somewhere that there’s a difference between the “raw score” and the score the NBME website calculates for you.
Is that true? And if so, how much would my score equate to?

Thanks you guys!

Ants on my e-bike!!

Hi guys
I just checked on my e-bike after a few days of not riding it and it was absolutely covered in ants.
I park in a bike parking next to 10-20 other bikes in a plastic shed kinda place.
None of the other bikes have any ants on them.

What could be causing this (I didn’t spill anything on it/ there’s no food around)?
Plus is it dangerous for the electrical stuff ?
Do I need to take it to the shop?
What do I doooo

Edit - i just moved the bike to a different spot in the same shed and the ants followed it.

Is my brain just not it? How do you guys make things stick? Please help:(

How do you guys learn things?

I’m a month into my prep and have done \~350 UW questions.

I’m 4 years post graduation now and have a time crunch to give it within the next 5 months.

I asked a few of my friends how I should prep for the step 1

They suggested I do FA and UW and that should be enough because that’s all they did (multiple friends).

I do questions and get them wrong and read the explanations thoroughly + FA, but an hour (heck, even just 10 mins) later, there’s 0 chance I remember what I learned off the top of my head.

I’ve been making anki cards of the questions but since my lack of knowledge, I’m making like 5 cards per question sometimes and that’s getting outta hand and the cards are starting to pile, but I’m afraid if I don’t do that, I won’t learn/memorize anything.

Is there something that I’m doing wrong? Is my strategy while reading the questions wrong? What do I do.

I did a block today and it killed me because I was so frustrated at how poorly I was doing
