Fly bit my dog but I'm not sure what fly. Very worried

EDIT: Case solved!

Hi all! Today I went on a walk with my dog and she had a fly on her face. I got it off immediately (the bite above her eye), and then a couple minutes later another one came and my dog was being very jumpy because it was between her eyes, so I spent about two minutes trying to get that one off. We were home within the next ten minutes and I immediately noticed these huge bumps in the spot the fly was attached. I've compared what I had to charts and diagrams of flies and I can't figure it out. I live in Central Minnesota. It was about the size of a regular housefly.

Femur but unsure of what animal

I found this femur bone in the woods in Central Minnesota, compared to my other deer femur, it seems a bit large. I'm taking a wild guess and assuming it's just a big guy that I got this from, but thought maybe you guys might have other ideas. Sorry we had no bananas, tampon for scale instead

Some of my collection!

Antler, deer skull, cow skull, partial deer jaw that had been chewed on, and a little art piece made from valentines day flowers and deer vertebrae! There's many more but these are all I have photos of at the moment 😊

I do a lot of work with bones and bone art but I usually macerate my critters. This is my first time just setting them out to decompose the slow way. I unfortunately can't switch back to maceration because of the smell, nobody around me can stand it.

The issue is that they're going rather slow. I have a couple opposums and other same sized animals in this area in about the same condition as the opposum shown. I've had it here for about 2 months, there seems to be a mediocre amount of bugs and I think that, and the surrounding environment may be the issue. Just a small walk away, I have a deer that died less than a month ago that has made more progress than this. Should I move them over there?
