I ask this because I'm currently working on a mod, as you may guess, focused on her.

The Salvation Remake dev temporarily quit because he/she faced "too much backlash" from some players.

What exactly went wrong? Was it a plot problem? Was it related to how the dokis were handled?

What do you want to see in mods like this? Character development? Original CGs?

And, lastly, What do people exactly want when playing a mod focused on Sayori?

Hello, good morning/afternoon/evening/night, everyone.

Time's Creation: From the early days is a "Doki Doki Literature Club" mod that explores the childhood, adolescence, and adulthood of Sayori and MC, inside a universe where Monika is someone normal, just like everyone else, but still affiliated with the canon DDLC lore.

As we all know, MC is seen as a dense person, but this mod aims to humanize MC in the most emotional way possible. From his childhood losses to his chaotic adolescence. He won't be a lost cause here.

The mod will be divided into 8 acts, each with its own conflicts and situations.

Synopsis: On a chaotic September night in the year 2000, torrential rain causes a power outage across their entire Nishi residential area (where MC lives). While MC's parents try to overcome the struggles, in the midst of the chaos throughout the city, an unexpected visitor knocks on the door; with her, a baby in her arms. A baby that many of you probably already suspect the identity of, triggering a domino effect that will forever change the lives of our protagonists.

I hope to release the demo of the first act between August and September, at worst.

I don't want to spoil too much now; I have thousands of ideas in my mind right now.

How will content be released? You may ask.

First, I'm going to post the demo for the act I'm working on(around 20-30% of the act's content), and, after you guys provide feedback, I'm going to finish the entire act and post it.

Act by act, this will be the way I will be working until I publish the Mod's demo with all the acts together. Finally, after polishing everything, I will post the final release.

UPDATE 2- PROGRESS UPDATE

Approximately 30% of Act 0's first draft has been polished.

In case you ask, yep, I use Neovim.

It's a bit slower than I expected, but I'm making good progress, and I think I could finish it soon.
The approximate length of Act 0's polished demo is 2000-2700+ lines, which, to put it into perspective, is the equivalent of 20-25% of DDLC's original game. It can easily surpass the 3000-line mark.

UPDATE 3- MY PLAN FOR ALL THE MOD'S CONTENT

THIS MOD IS HEAVILY FOCUSED ON MC AND SAYORI.

Time's Creation is planned to be divided into 8 acts:

• Act 0: Infancy
• Act 1: Kindergarten
• Act 2: Elementary School
• Act 3: Middle School
• Act 4: High School
• Act 5: College
• Act 6: Adulthood
• Act 7: The End

Each act will vary in length, but this is a massive project.

UPDATE 4- THE PREMISE

Have you ever felt you wanted to explore the DDLC universe in depth?

In an alternate universe where Monika doesn't have her powers and is just like everyone else, we will dive into the untold stories and experiences of the "Good ol' days" between MC and Sayori.

You will face tragedies; you will face scenes that will leave you either delighted, sad, terrified, shocked, and much more.

I would want to take a solemn approach while addressing the doki's mental issues. After doing some research, I concluded that Doki Doki Literature Club barely scratched the surface on these; therefore, I decided that I'm going to show the raw reality of depression, social anxiety, other anxiety disorders, and dysthymia. Mental health is not a joke.

Have you wondered, "What if we could experience Sayori and MC in their childhoods"?

DDLC Time's Creation is a mod where you can explore the "Old Days" of MC and Sayori's adventures!

This mod will be divided into multiple acts(not just 3!), starting when both were just some months old, progressing further and further well into adulthood; from start to finish, you will see the way MC and Sayori overcome different issues, from your typical toddler tantrums to sudden and devastating tragedies.

You will also be able to interact with some special people you are already familiar with at a certain moment in the story.

This mod tries to expand on hints, given that the main DDLC lore provides some interesting ones about their childhoods.

PROGRESS UPDATE

With 1800 lines of code, the first draft of Act 0 is nearly done.

This implies that, after finishing this draft, I'll start with finalizing art and SFX, then I'll polish the entire story. (It's not ready, expect revisions)

Hey folks!

It's been 22 days since my first update, back on June 6.

This project has officially reached the thousand-line milestone.

While this might not sound like much to others, it is a great achievement for me. I joined this community just last month, but I felt so intrigued by this game that I immediately fell in love with it, and decided to make a mod, specifically about MC and Sayori.

ABOUT THIS MOD:
Theme: Admiration/Resilience.

This mod explores the reality of 2 friends growing up together, from childhood to adulthood, from friends to husband & wife.

It will be divided into 8 different acts, each enriched with its own content, context, and time.

You might think: What makes this project interesting?

Well, this mod features the mental struggles of the dokis, but explored with extreme depth.

It also spans from 1999 to 2028, where Sayori and MC, after years of fighting, after years of believing, are finally able to live a normal life(Discretion Advised: Sayori's su*cide attempt, and other sensitive topics are present in this mod. Sayori will survive it, so you don't have to relive the trauma.)

As a plus, the music will be shaped by classical music. Adding a dramatic touch to this mod.

How is it structured?

I'm exploring the mental struggles of the Dokis with extreme depth. To do that right, I need time, so the mod is split into 8 different acts (+ some side stories) where you literally see them grow up.

Right now, my rough estimation is around 66k***** lines of code in total:

Act 0 (New-born-1.5 years old): 1,500 - 2,000 lines. This is what I'm coding right now.

Acts 1 & 2 (Elementary / Middle School): 9k lines.

Acts 3 & 4 (High School / The Club): ~20k lines. (The peak of the conflict

Acts 5 to 7 (Adulthood & Resolution): ~21.5k lines. Leading up to the 2028 wedding.

Side Stories: ~14k lines for extra context. (Here we will find many surprises!"

(I know this might sound TOO much, but, it will be worth it.)

Hello everyone, I recently got into DDLC and started learning Ren'Py to build my first mod.

The project is focused on MC and Sayori, expanding their relationship with a much longer, more detailed story.

It focuses on emotional development, memory, and the passage of time, while keeping some of DDLC's original spirit!

This mod is divided into 9 different acts, spanning from act 0 to act 8. Although this can change.

It will also be focused on mental health, building healthy relationships, and exploring different perspectives.

The story leans towards a more hopeful and human ending, so don't be scared to give it a try!

While this project is promising and I'm highly ambitious about it, I want to clarify that it's not serious yet. Depending on how I'm feeling about it in a few months, I'll contemplate the future of this project. As of right now, it's doing better than I expected.

As you saw in the title, me, a young person, is trying to quit masturbating for now, i did it 3-5 times a day last month (april 2026), but i've lowered it to 0-1 times a day, one each 1-2 days, but i think that is not enough, fortunately, i don't watch any NSFW-Related stuff, it's just the urges that appear when i feel anxious or stressed, the reason i'm trying to quit is because i don´t want to let my urges control my life, i want connection with people, specially women now, i want confidence, i want discipline, you get it.

I discovered fapping in 2022, and since then, my urges have controlled me, i could not even spend a day without them, i sometimes do it out of pure boredom, sometimes, as i said before, i did it because of stress, anger, anxiety, etc..

I really want to get rid of fapping, because i think it's worsening my social anxiety, how do i start?
