They are recommending increasing the Sheriff's budget yet again to $1.2 billion dollars. The Sheriff's get over half the "public safety" budget while public defenders get 3% and fire gets about 25%
How Much Does It Take To Run For Riverside City Council? It Depends On The Candidate.
Personally I would want a 15-20 dollar donation limit. You should be able to run on local support that almost anybody can afford to donate. Big budget donors shouldn't give you a louder voice.
