Its like the moral compass has gone far off in malaysia lately.

There is 3 muslim type wagging war lol .

1. The extremist : That is not hijab! Hijab must cover bla bla bla bla!

2. The Wrong definition : That is not hijab, just called it shawl or something. Hijab isnt like that bla bla bla bla

3. The liberal : That hijab is good! In this summer heat, that style is how we avoid heatstroke, its a style.

The all arguing with each other, and the non muslim dont want to disturb lol.

The funniest counter point they loveeee to use is, Dunya heat dosent match Hells fire. So they want woman to die from heatstroke before anything else, got it.

The non muslim see its as a inclusive movement, but the muslim see its a making fun of them.

So when this anime was announced , ya i got interested. Since ya i dont mind reading about historical manga. When i read it lol, i felt bored ahahahah. Is it about Islam? Nahh. Its about political conflict in Mongol. Now with the anime release, Muslim are projecting like this is anime is all about Islam and praise the knowledge of islam and bla bla bla. Its Historical + fiction. I think the manga was praised for the portrayal of mongols culture.

There is lack of evidence of whats fatima is like, but from current evidence( evidence from biased journal )she is portrayed as cunning political-able intellectual person.

Why use witch? Is there a reason? Im sure its because her vast knowledge on stuff based on islamic. Nope. lol. She was deemed witch because she was accused of poison one of Toregene sons. And Toregene defended her( there was accusations of Fatima bewitched Toregene)

Was the manga good? very mid.
Was the anime drawn beautifully? Yes.
Would i recommend? If you like politics + warfare yes.
Is this anime islam centric? Hell nah. Just because a few chapters only show a few verse thrown in dosent mean its centric to that religion.

I give this anime/manga a 5/10. I better read a generic vending machine isekai than this.

But it does peak my interest about Fatima so yah , i go down the rabbit hole. Funny is there are people believing Fatima and Toregene( one of the wife that rose in power and shifted the political power in Mongol) are lovers . Why? because they retired(After the son gain power, they move to country side together) and always together. LOL.

Also im pretty sure this anime will win awards because of COUGH MINORITY OPPRESSED RELIGION SYNDROME COUGH.
