I struggled for a few years to grow autos and swore them off. On June 16th I planted 2 autoflowering seeds. They have been some of the biggest, healthiest plants I have grown. I contribute my past failed attempts to my watering practices and bad genetics.
Pictured are my two Mango OG from Hoku seeds. 2 gallon plastic pots, Fox Farms, Gaia Green dry amendments.
In between them, finishing up flower, are my photos I grew in 1 gal fabric pots. I used the same soil and nutes.
I am shocked at how quickly they grew in 47 days.
My company requires steel-toed boats or composite. I've had these Red Wings for 3 years and I love them. I like the BOA ties because I can wake up for watch and just jump in my boots. I wanted to get the cowboy style boots so they would easily slip off If I went overboard. The cowboy style boots are never wide enough for my feet. These Redwings keep my feet dry, upgrading the insoles really helped. They quickly can be opened in an emergency (going overboard). The oil resistance soles are a plus for walking around the engine room. I've had welding slag land on them, oil, paint, etc. I don't think I'll ever get a different pair of boots. I was worried the BOA "laces" would eventually break, so far they have held up. First pair of Red Wings and probably my last. The only boots I have had that lasted more than 8 months on the steel decks. Usually soles are worn down or heels disintegrate on me with other boots.
A lot of graffiti along the Delaware River. Here's one of my favorite spots that someone hit. My favorite is PK Kid (not pictured) he is all over NY/NJ, been seeing his tags since I was a kid.
I started a compost bin 3 years ago. Around 3 months ago I added 100 red composting worms to the bin and now I have 2x the amount of worms and they are doing well. My question is what's next? My bin is just a large garbage can with a lid (big one on wheels.) How do I go about getting the worm castings out for my garden? I'm guessing the only way is to dump the entire bin over and separate everything? This is how I would mix my compost before having worms. How do I keep the worms happy? Do I add more dirt after removing castings? New to this and should have probably researched more. It was an ADHD impulse project but I'm enjoying it, TIA.
New Zoro mat from dabtoons x mattitude mats. Going to look nice next to my Nami mat.
