Possibility of virtual desktop coming to pimax dream air?

Is there anyway virtual desktop coming to dream air. VD beta that support wired connection just came out for quest3. If we have similar to this happening to dream air and virtual desktop support it, will solve alot of issues with app compatibility and make dream air much easier and faster to use for all games.

My review of pimax dream air coming from Quest3

After waiting since my preorder on June 10, my Pimax Dream Air finally arrived in Dubai on July 28… which happened to be my birthday. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday gift, and I was genuinely excited to finally try it.
For context, I have an RTX 5090 desktop. Before this, I mainly played PCVR on my Quest 3 using Virtual Desktop (Godlike settings) with a dedicated Wi-Fi router, and I also own a PSVR2.
After spending time with the Dream Air, I ended up a little disappointed.
Don’t get me wrong—it’s not a bad headset. In fact, I think it has the best image quality and resolution available today. The clarity is stunning.
But there were a few things that stopped me from loving it.
The biggest issue for me was comfort. I quickly started feeling heat and pressure around the facial interface. It’s not painful, but after a while it becomes distracting. Then there’s the cable. Coming from years of wireless Quest 3 gaming, I didn’t realize how much I had gotten used to total freedom until I found myself getting tangled in the wire.
I also noticed orange halos around the lenses, especially in certain high-contrast scenes. I’m not sure if this is normal for my unit or something others are experiencing, but it was noticeable enough for me to mention.
The image quality is absolutely better than the Quest 3, but honestly… the difference wasn’t as dramatic as I expected. If you’re already running a Quest 3 at full resolution with a dedicated router, Virtual Desktop on Godlike settings, and Quest Optimizer, the visual jump doesn’t feel night and day in many games.
I tried multiple games, and this is the conclusion I came to:
For sim racing and flight simulators: the Dream Air is outstanding. The resolution alone makes it worth using.
For everything else: the SLAM controllers are perfectly usable, but I constantly found myself missing the Quest 3 ecosystem, wireless freedom, and controller feel.
The headset is fairly easy to set up, but it’s still more involved than just putting on a Quest 3 and playing.
So my personal setup going forward is simple:
Pimax Dream Air = simulators.
Quest 3 = everything else.
At least until something like Steam Frame or the Quest 4 comes along.
I’m curious if anyone else who owns both headsets ended up reaching the same conclusion, or if you’ve also noticed the orange halos around the lenses.
