Please help, I need to be sure about this.
I got obc rank 5.7k, now I know it ain't much good, but I was very burnt out from so many exams, I won't give much explanation about it. But I will definitely get NIT trichy in CSAB early rounds.
I am not interested in Btech though, as I found it out late that I can get into research through IISERs, I had my hopes very high for it, but it didn’t go as I planned. Do I have a any assurance of getting any iiser or iacs (i filled the form)? I need to be sure asap cause if not, I'll move on and lock my choice since round 7,8,9 will be very late. I'll just take a partial drop from there and focus to clear the exam nest year.

My theory for the results
Like most of the people have got to know about the exam through social media and reddit and stuff etc. It's a niche exam in reality, with maybe the sciastra advertisement and all only. So most of the good scorers post their scores here cause they are from here. And the rest of the normal fellow just are the silent majority. So it may seem everyone is scoring high, but its the loud minority. The cutoffs will decrease very much and y'all might get whatever you wish for!

I am a PCM student, aiming for IISc through advance, but considering my mock results, I should focus more on IAT. So, anyone knows any good short one shot series? Is the sci astra crash course on youtube (2025 one) good? or should I go with 2026 one?
