Rescued Monstera Support
Hey everyone! I recently rescued this Monstera about a week ago and it looks like it has seen better days. I haven’t ever had a monstera, so want to make sure I give it the care it needs and do what I can to make it healthy again.
The newer leaves look decently healthy (see 5th pic) but I think the previous owner just kind of let it flop and hang. Last two pix show the most damaged leaves, should I prune these? I propped up the plant with a ceramic sculpture I had so it didn’t drag on the floor.
Room it is in now gets nice indirect light. Unsure of previous owner’s watering schedule. It seems like a standard potting mix. Rootlets are coming through the bottom drainage hole.
Any tips you havw would be so appreciated, and please let me know if I can offer more info! 🌱
