I don’t usually go for bright pinks but this caught my eye on the shelf with its purpley tone and it’s so pretty on! Used Essie Start Stronger base coat (always my go-to), 2 coats Essie Gel Couture Wilder Than I Seam and followed up with Essie Speed Setter top coat.
I went into my local Aritzia this morning for the first time in probably 10-15 years. I think I was in undergrad the last time I shopped there! I’m now in my late 30s and heading back to the office after maternity leave so figured it was time for some fresh work clothing! I was half expecting mean girl vibes but even with my toddler and baby in tow, I was treated so kindly and the girls who assisted me were exceptionally helpful and sweet even finding some stickers for my toddler. Ended up picking up a pair of black Agency pants and ordering another in the dark olive green. I’m actually excited to go back and browse without my kids in tow soon. I just thought it might be nice for everyone to hear a good news story about the service for a change! (Edit: added link to olive pants)
I brought home my first Louis Vuitton handbag today! I recently got a substantial promotion and this was my gift to myself for the hard work that got me there. I was back and forth between the Speedy B 25 and 30 and ultimately went for the 30. Fitting a hardback novel easily inside sealed the deal because I always carry a book or my kobo with me on top of all my random life things as a mom of small children. I love how squishy and casual this bag can be while still being something I can dress up a bit with the top handle. She’ll handle travel, work, and life and that’s what I want in a bag! Can’t wait to take her out…and maybe decorate her a bit.
Has anyone successfully done 3 across in a Mercedes GLC and if so, what seats did you use? We currently have 2 Clek Foonf seats installed (one rear facing for our almost 3 year old who will likely be turned forward facing soon, and one forward for our 4.5 year old) and will need to add a third, rear-facing seat for our 1 year old soon as she will start daycare in a few months when I return to work. Until now, this hasn’t been an issue because we use our Chevy Traverse when all 3 kids are with one of us, but my husband and I will need to share drop off and pick up duties soon.
