Are these hat pics real or AI?

I found this account of a woman who makes fruit hats for her snake and says that they are real, but they don’t look real at all to me. Every single picture has the exact same lighting and the background is always a slightly different room. Theres also 0 pictures of just the hats and no videos of the snake with the hat on.

The snake IS real (there’s videos of it) but specially the hat pictures do not look real.

Updated surprise guesses

A few months was ago I posted about guessing this years surprise model at breyerfest and wanted to make an updated list. You will have to click on each picture in order to see the entire thing.

Here are the color break-downs:
Red: already being used at breyerfest this year
Orange: already a surprise previously
Pink: too small, foal, or a vintage mold
Yellow: “other” reasons for being disqualified (not popular, not too new or too vintage, used as an event model recently.) sorry that it’s two different shades of yellow, I had to manually edit some lol.
Blue star: was used in last years auction
Green square: these are just models I would personally like to see lol

I already put the “rules” Breyer tends to follow when picking a surprise mold but I will go over them briefly. I will give a few examples of each rule as well.(Note that these rules aren’t 100% proven or true, Breyer just TENDS to follow this pattern)

Rules that disqualify or lower the chances of a mold:
- Too vintage (Western horse, Man O’War, Five Gaiter)
- Unpopular (Kennebec Count, John Henry, Spirit)
- used as a mold at this breyerfest this year (Orthello, Fjord mare, Etheral)
- already used as a surprise (Flash, Australian stock horse, Lonesome Glory)
- Too small/Pony (Misty, Midnight Tango, Bouncer)
- Foals (Amber, Ashley, Gilen)
- Released as a regular run this year (Lipazzaner, Mustang Mare, Amazign Stallion)
- attending as a guest this year (Vanner Mare, Geronimo)
- used as an event model recently (Criollo, Bristol)
- same breed as last years surprise (Warmblood)
- Having a large base (Standardbred mare, Gaming stock horse)
- so far Breyer has never done a true draft mold. (Shire gelding, Gypsy Vanner)

Rules that increase the chance of a mold being used:
- Been mass produced recently (Weather girl, Walking TB stallion)
- Used in last years auction (Cantering Warmblood, Huckleberry Bey)
- Popular (Friesian Sporthorse, Ruffian)

I’m sure I’ve made some mistakes but this should be the final list of molds that are “most likely” to be the surprise model. (These are just guesses and it is completely possible that it’s one not on this list)

Akhal-Teke - I don’t think this mold is very popular, but it is a newer model and it was used in last years auction.
Andalusian Mare - Would be an odd choice but there’s no argument against it.
Arabian Mare - This mold has 3 variants so it be hard to choice between which one to use. This mold was also used for a guest horse last year.
Ashquar - I actually love this mold, but he hasn’t been used in a while.
Bluegrass Bandit - Was last used as a volunteer model, but I know she’s super popular.
Cantering Warmblood - I know this model is super popular, but I’m not sure if Breyer would break the streak of not using the same breed class back to back.
Cigar - I love cigar, but he isn’t as popular as he used to be. Also used as the celebration model last year.
Desatado - This guy is weirdly likely since he was used as a regular run recently.
FAM - This mold is both very popular and very unpopular.
Friesian Sporthorse - this is my current #1 pick. Popular, used recently, can fit the theme, etc.
Gypsy Vanner - nothing sticks out. Doesn’t seem super likely.
Iberian - more likely than his Gypsy Vanner counterpart, but not a super popular mold. I would actually love it if it was this guy though.
Huckleberry Bey - This guy is probably not popular enough to work. Would be fun though.
In-Between Mare - Same as FAM.
Lipizzaner Mare - could work but is another one that seems like a random choice.
Marwari - hasn’t been used recently. Although it doesn’t disqualify a mold, he really doesn’t fit the them either.
Mustang Mare - I don’t know if she’s popular enough. Was used at an event recently too.
Newsworthy- This guy might be too small to work. He is more pony sized. He also has a huge stand.
Ruffian - Has a hugeee stand and hasn’t been used recently.
Salinero - Too similar to last year’s surprise imo.
Shagya Arabian - not super popular but still possible.
Show jumping Warmblood - was used as a special run last year.
Spanish Stallion - was used as the volunteer model last year.
Standardbred Mare - she’s new and semi popular but does have a huge stand.
Standing QH Mare - she’s very small and not super popular.
Strapless - I love her but she was used as the Christmas surprise last year, which would probably eliminate her.
Trotting Arabian Mare - I love her also but she has been used as a treasure hunt model before.
Walking Thoroughbred - no argument for or against really.
Zippo Pine Bar - Probably not popular enough.

Breyerfesf Q&A megathread

As breyerfest 2026 gets closer, more first timers will ask questions. I hope that people use this to answer any questions they have and to avoid repeat posts. If you have any information you would like give or any questions please feel free to comment anything.

I will go over basic information and questions first and then go into more specific questions.

Special runs:
All access and tradition access (online) get a choice of 2 special runs per ticket. You cannot get 2 of the same model on one ticket for example: if you have bought 1 ticket you cannot get 2 surprise models, but if you have bought 2 tickets you can get 2 special run models because they will be on 2 separate tickets.

Online access DOES NOT have access to all special run models. Online access will only have the ability to purchase Litha, Thingvellir, Scandi surprise, Oseberg, and The Wanderer.

If you got a VIP ticket you will receive 1 of all 9 special run models. Variants are random, will not receive one of each variant. (I’m assuming if you bought a VIP ticket you probably already know what you are doing lol)

If you want more information of what each ticket includes Breyer does a much better job than me: https://www.breyerhorses.com/collections/breyerfest-2026-tickets

If you have already purchased tickets and did not fill out your preference form it is too late to decide your special runs. If you did not fill out a preference form you will be assigned random special runs. Some people will receive “wild card” tickets. These tickets allow you to pick any of the remaining special runs. If something has sold out you will not be able to buy that model even if you see that they have more. Those models have already been assigned to people.

If you attending in person the special run pickup tent is behind the main arena. (as long as they haven’t moved it again)

Other event models:
All event models will be available to all ticket holders. The two online exclusive models are still available to in-person tickets, you will just need to login to your Breyer account and order the model online instead of being able to physically buy one in the arena.

DO NOT worry about the limited editions selling out - they almost never do. They will be restocked each day and will be available all three days. You do not need to line up super early if these are the only models you are worried about getting. They do limit the amount you can buy of each to 1 per person.

Celebration models are available to pick up all weekend next to the special run tent.

Breyer store:
The Breyer store will be open from 9 am to 5 pm (4pm on Sunday) and will be where breyerfest limited editions are sold as well as regular runs, shirts and other merch, and random models Breyer decides to include. The Breyer store is located in the main covered arena. The other half of the covered arena is for vendors. Some vendors will be selling models, some will not.

When lining up in the morning before breyerfest the first 300 people will be assigned numbers based on order. When you get to the actual Breyer store line everyone will need to re-line up based on their number. This is to prevent people from cutting in line.

You CANNOT bring large bags into the Breyer store. There will be a tent outside of the store where you will need to check in your bag and you can pick up your things after you exit the store.

Things to do at the KHP:
Outside of buying models, there are other things going on as well. The arena will be hosting shows all day which you can sit and watch. When the program releases before breyerfest (physical programs will be available in person as well) it will show who will be in the arena and what time. If there is anyone you want to see make sure to schedule appropriately!
Outside of the shows, you will be able to meet special guest horses as well. If you have purchased a portrait model of someone at breyerfest, meet and greets will be held where you can meet the owner and horses as well as get your model signed.
All guest horses are housed in the barns directly behind the covered arena. You are usually not able to pet them but you will be able to see them in person.
Other than horses attending breyerfest, there are also horses that live at the Kentucky horse park.
The Hall of Champions houses several retired race horses and pacers. They host a couple shows where they’ll bring out the horse and show videos of them racing. They are also very good about telling you information and fun facts about them
The big barn holds all of their large breeds (Percherons, Belgians, Clydesdales).
The breeds barn holds various different horses and will hosts shows to show off different breeds of the world.
The mounted police also have a barn that holds all their police horses while they are not working.
The visitor center has a gift shop and is also where the auction models are on display before they are sold. Be sure to check them out beforehand, there’s a good chance you’ll never see them in person again!
The KHP also has two museums to visit. The international museum of the horse is directly next to the visitor center. The saddlebred museum is directly next to the horse park entrance where you will enter breyerfest from. I encourage people to check it out if you’re interested.
If you have older children I know kids love the jumps they set up lol. I believe they are set up to the right of the covered area but they are a little hidden.
There is also a stablemate painting set up. Everyone is a given an unpainted stablemate for free. It is usually located in the outdoor arena behind the main covered arena.

Food:
Most of the food at breyerfest consists of food trucks. Most are located behind the covered arena near the stablemate painting set-up but some are located to the right of the arena. There is also a small restaurant near the visitor center. Most people, however, prefer eating outside of the park.

Events outside of breyerfest:
The main event outside of breyerfest is the clarion room sales. Most people staying at the clarion hotel will be selling models directly from their hotel rooms all week. The most popular times for people to attend will be the evenings of Friday and Saturday, but rooms will be open all week (usually starting Wednesday and ending Sunday night).
There are rumors going around that this year might be the final year for room sales (at least at the clarion) but nothing has been 100% confirmed. In order for room sales to be continued ANYWHERE we must show that we are able to control ourselves. The clarion is a hotel first and foremost- don’t run around all night making noise, clean up after yourselves, and respect the staff of the hotel. If the clarion does stop room sales, another hotel won’t pick them up if people cannot behave.

The clarion also hosts the swap meet on Friday and Saturday night from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm. These are booths purchased by people seeking their own collections similar to the room sales.

If you like Peter stones the Marriott will be hosting Equilocity Thursday thru Sunday. More information can be found here: https://stonehorses.com/pages/equilocity-2026

Program:
If you are attending in person, Breyer will hand out the program to attendees. Here is the digital program to get a sneak peek: https://www.breyerhorses.com/pages/program-breyerfest-2026

Other questions:

What time should I line up for breyerfest on Friday? I want to be near the front of the line.
If you want to be near the front of the line I’m sorry to disappoint you but people begin lining up on Wednesday evening nowadays. I personally recommend people line up around 7 am Friday morning. This allows you to be within the first 300-400 people and you’ll be in the store about an hour or two after the park opens.

Do I need cash?
At the park you do not generally need cash, but I would bring some in case. If you are going to the clarion you will 100% need cash however. Some people allow digital payment through PayPal/Apple Pay but a large percentage do not.

The special run I bought is damaged, can I get a refund?
This depends on the extent of the damage. Breyer will typically refund you for major damaged like cracks and breaks, but generally won’t replace the model with another. If your model has rubs, warped plastic, or smudges Breyer will not refund you.

I want to sell some of my own models, where can I do that?
Both Breyer and the clarion do not allow unauthorized people to sell at the horse park or the hotel. Staff will ask you to remove your things. The best way to sell your model at breyerfest(if you do not have somewhere to sell them) is by posting them online and doing pickups.

If you have any other questions feel free to comment them here and I’ll try to answer as much as I can. If anyone has any other information they would like to add to the post I can edit and include it (along with your username).

Barrier status on aquarium?

I noticed in the gameplay trailer it showed that the aquariums have a barrier status like the fences do. Does this mean the tanks could fall apart if it reaches 0 like the fences? Wouldn’t that kill everything? 😂

Maybe instead of fully shattering it would cause a big leak instead.
