John Sword

I want to train some people in 1.9+ sword. I've gotten real good, and I'm tired of seeing how unskilled most of the community is. There is this undeserved god complex from HT3+ players when it really isn't that difficult to get. There's so many bad habits being taught, it pisses me off.

I'm doing this completely for free, but I'd like to interview anyone interested to see if they have it in them. I only want people serious about getting to T2+ skill. I do not teach mechanics as much as I teach training methods. You won't find my stuff on YouTube.

Before mods get mad at me, rule 5 explicitly states not to ask for a coach. I'm not asking, I'm offering to be one.

I will also be solving the problems I am facing by providing realistic solutions to them. But I just wanted a space that I could quickly link for people who want to blindly accuse me before getting any facts straight.!<

Hello. I am John Sword.

You might have seen me in the past few weeks making a commotion in the sword community. I want to clear a few things up before I get started on my recent altercation with PVPTiers and MMC.

- I do not cheat. I have a valid an extensive explanation to every aspect of my gameplay and every individual thing I do. There are clips circulating, specifically in the _Dreadx fight, that have been reviewed and cleared by regulators.

- I am an alt, but not in the traditional sense. I made it purely to protect my identity, for privacy and security reasons. My main account does not interact with the PVP Community, tierlists, or anything competitive. There are a few high-authority individuals within the community who have cleared me to do this. I am not anyone you know.

- My John_Sword Minecraft account was compromised, I no longer have access to it as of XX/XX/2026 (Will give exact date when I get home). Someone, either a hacker or staff from Microsoft, changed my account email then deleted my account within a day.

Now, let me address the situation of my restriction on PVPTiers in full:

I was recently restricted on PVPTiers for being banned on a VTS (Verified Testing Server).

The testing server that I was banned from was Minemen.club (MMC). I had to dig for this information by making a PVPTiers support ticket, because again my account was compromised before the ban, and I had no way of knowing what I was banned from.

I spoke with some regulators and a manager @ PVPTiers and was told to speak with MMC staff about my ban.

I did, I made a ticket, and told them my situation. I wanted details, because PVPTiers wanted details. I knew I didnt cheat but there wasn't anything conclusive I could provide. I submitted logs and my mod list, in which they told me "Animatium" (a cosmetic, client sided mod) flags. I had a friend of mine use the same mod and get in trouble for the same reason, so he spoke with the developer of the mod and confirmed there should be 0 reason the mod flags anticheats.

On top of this, when I pushed for information regarding my ban, I was told none could be provided. No proof, no dates, nothing. I asked if they could privately message the PVPTiers Regulators the information, in which they declined. To my knowledge, there is 0 proof of me cheating on MMC.

But heres what I have, and what could clear me: The last time I was on the server was to fight _Dreadx, in a fight that was recorded from multiple POVs, and cleared by the regulators as to be legit gameplay. Before that, I hadnt logged on to MMC in a while. This is the most relevant session and the one that has been cleared.

When PVPTiers staff were presented with these facts;

- No proof of me cheating could be provided by MMC

- Random, potentially false accusations of mods in my mod list flagging

- Most relevant session was already cleared by the same staff

However, they chose to abide by policy, and keep the restriction.

Now I am branded as a cheater despite no proof being made available to anyone, and the whole situation as unnessecarily devolved into hearsay, in which I will lose because I am just some guy.

People will more likely and justifiably believe the words of big communities like MMC and PVPTiers than some alt who look like they're cheating.

AMA.
