Replacing inverter

My original SunPower inverter went out recently. Looking to perform a DIY replacement as local solar companies want $2k+ to swap out for a new one .
The current inverter is ABB PVI-3.0-OUTD-S-US-A.
What would be a good option to replace it with?
Also have a separate SunPower system that has micro inverters and a PV55x box.
I will be getting a 10kW Tesla system added on soon with two Powerwall 3’s. The current systems will not feed directly into then Powerwalls as it’s going to be a lease, and rather they will be connected at the panel level. Thanks

Switching to EV9

Hi everyone,
A family of 5 (3 kids under 7) shopping for new EV. My Model 3 was totaled so we need to replace. The model 3 was a tight fit in the back seat for 3 car seats (Dionos - about the only ones that would fit). Didn’t expect to be car shopping, and so the EV9 is on our potential list. Test drove the Light Long Range today but the lack of second motor made the car feel slow. Were used to the acceleration of the Model 3 and our Ford Lightning. We do however like the 3 row seating with captains chairs in second row. Gives us easy access to 3rd row without messing with car seats if mounted in 2nd row. Any owners here of the Light trim with little kids and car seats? Would you have rather upgraded to the higher trims? Anything you feel like you would’ve liked to have? Anyone else coming from a Tesla to the EV9 with little kids here? Would love to hear your experience. Is the listed 305 range realistic when highway driving? Are the driver assistance systems in the EV9? I’ve used the FSD on the Tesla and the BlueCruise on the Lightning. Any features that you wish that EV9 had that were on the Tesla? Does it get CarPlay? Can you watch Netflix, etc on the screens? Oh, and if anyone purchased one on the last few months, what did you all pay? Anyone here in Northern CA that had a good experience with a dealer? TIA

Need advice on PPA Solar Quote

Just need to figure out if this is a good deal from a local installer.
20 REC460AA PURE-RX panels
20 Enphase IQ8X inverters
2 Enphase IQBATTERY-10C1P-NA
All for $36,425
Financed as a Prepaid PPA with Propel/Comcert Financing, $296/mo

There is an $8k rebate for those batteries through local utility

My current electricity bill runs around $200/mo. I am more looking to lock in pricing now and avoid future rate hikes. It’s been on average at least 3% annually.
The prepaid PPA monthly payment has no escalator

Trying to compare the price of this system to some of you who might have had a recent install with similar equipment

On the other hand I am looking at Tesla, 8.4 kW system with a Powerwall 3 and an expansion pack. Cash price $38,148. Lease option is what I was looking at which then ends up being $198/mo with 3% annual escalator. Option to purchase after year 5 for $23,310. There’s a $10k rebate from local utility for Powerwall batteries and a $250 quarterly incentive for 2 yrs.

TIA

I should add as mentioned below quarterly incentives for the VPP of $110 per battery with Tesla Powerwall.

On the other hand, Enphase sounds enticing since they advertise their IQ DC Bidirectional Charger coming out this year that should be easy to pair with the Enphase system. I have a truck with a 132 kW battery that it would unlock for me to use for the home. This is of course if the charger becomes available as it has been delayed a couple of times.

Replacing a broken inverter

Anyone here in the Sacramento CA area that can recommend an installer to replace a broken string inverter? Has anyone had one recently replaced? What should I expect to pay? Can I buy a refurbished model online and swap it myself? Thanks in advance
It’s a Sunpower branded ABB inverter model # PVI-3.0-OUTD-S-US-A

Mount options

Thanks in advance everyone. I am looking to buy some style cameras to replace Ring cameras I am currently using. My concern is how to mount them in similar spots that I have the current Ring POE cameras since that’s where the cable is. Would hate to have to move the cable or drill new homes to run the wire. How would you mount these? Are there aftermarket or even OEM options for mounts that exist? What are you guys using? This would be for a Reolink System. Would I be better off with a bullet style cameras? Most of the mounting places would be under the overhang.

Reolink vs Defender

Looking to get a 4k NVR system. Which one is a better option? Looking at either bullet or PTZ cameras. Would like to have remote viewing option on my phone. Currently have a Ring system and don’t want to continue expanding it. Too pricey per camera and their 4k POE cameras are $300 each. Too much. Can either be viewed on an Amazon Alexa? What about Apple TV? TIA

Towing

Looking to do some backyard demo and need to rent a dump trailer. The local place said their policy is they only rent to owners of 3/4 ton trucks or larger, but said I can speak with the manager for an exception. The trailer can only be loaded with up to 8k lbs. my concern is if they do rent to me, how can I tell that I’m not overloading the trailer? I’m only traveling max 5 miles to the county dump.
