Is a "Top 5 Music Quiz Apps" video a good idea? How would you format it

Hey guys, I'm planning out a new video and wanted to get some opinions on the format. The idea is to test out and rank the best music party apps to figure out which one is actually the most fun for game nights.
The list of apps I'm planning to cover right now is:

SongPop

BuzzBeats

Heardle

Beat The Intro

Playlist Guesser

For those of you who make app reviews or tech/gaming content, how would you go about actually filming this? Should I just do a standard sit-down video with some B-roll and screen recordings of the apps, or do you think it’s better to film my friends and me playing them IRL to get real reactions?
I want to keep the pacing fast and the retention high, so I'm not sure which approach works best. Would love to hear how you guys would structure a video like this!

Why do these IRL guessing game videos work so incredibly well right now? ?

The concept is basically a chaotic game of music charades. One person gets 60 seconds to act out, explain, or perform a song while the rest of the group is screaming guesses. It just seems to print views on Shorts and TikTok right now because the energy is super high and viewers naturally play along in the comments.
I actually built a hobby app called BuzzBeats to run this exact game with the timer and song selection.

But seriously, what makes this specific format so good for retention? Is it just the fast pacing, or the chaos of the group? Would love your thoughts.

What's the best content format to market an app on TikTok/Shorts right now?

Hey guys, I recently built a free iOS party game called BuzzBeats and I'm looking for some marketing advice.
The game is played locally with friends grouped around one phone. The main mechanics are a trivia mode where everyone races to hit a multi-touch buzzer to guess the song, a karaoke mode where the music suddenly cuts out and you have to finish the lyrics, and a 60-second rapid-fire challenge against the clock.
Since it's a passion project, I have zero marketing budget and want to try getting some organic traction on TikTok and YouTube Shorts. I'm pretty new to short-form content, though. How do you make videos for an interactive, group-based game without it just feeling like a boring ad?
Would love any advice on what formats or hooks are actually performing well right now for this kind of stuff!

Who can beat me in BuzzBeats? My Rapid Fire record is 10

Who can beat me in BuzzBeats in Rapid Fire mode? The rules are simple: you have exactly one minute to guess as many songs as possible from a selected genre. My current record is 10. Let's see if anyone here can actually get to 11 or more! Post a screenshot in the comments if you beat me.

Full disclosure: I am the developer behind the app. The whole thing is a completely free hobby project (100% free, zero ads, and you don't even need an Apple Music subscription to play).
I'd really appreciate any support or feedback, and I hope it's okay to post this here!

Can anyone beat my score of 10 in BuzzBeats?

You basically have 60 seconds to guess as many songs as possible from a genre you pick. My current record is 10, which gets surprisingly stressful when the timer runs out. If anyone manages to get 11 or more, drop a screenshot in the comments!
Full disclosure, I actually built the app myself. It’s just a completely free, ad-free hobby project for game nights, and you don't even need a music subscription to play. Hope it’s okay to share here
