Hi Everyone, I am managing the gbp of a local travel agency. Client is telling me, he is noticing from thepast 4-5 days that calls are coming for bus ticket booking(which they do not provide service ) and for promotion, not calls which can be qualified as "leads".

Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?. I haven't mentioned anything related to bus ticket booking in the google business profile, yet calls are coming related to it.

How do I get to know about the reason behind this?

I think I am looking stupid for asking this question. Tell me guys, you are serving only local businesses in your locality, where do you live, or other places. I genuinely want to know. Is there any disadvantage if you are targeting people away from your locality?

Newcomer. I just started reaching out to local businesses, offering them my local seo services. My method for choosing a business is that, first, I will find the industry, then extract keywords for it, and then search it on Google. Businesses which has a good amount of reviews and are between 4-10 are my ideal. Rn, I am away for outreaching businesses who are already in the top 3, because I think he is already ranking, then why should he need a seo guy?

These businesses are in my current outreach sheet- Travel agencies, gyms, hair salon, dentists, and interior designers.
Had I left any industry that is worth targeting? I can't figure out how to decide that this industry is worth targeting with my services. Because it is better to work with businesses that have the actual need for my services.

Apart from this, I also want to know how to outreach, what the best methods are, and what mistakes to avoid.

I changed the primary phone number in GBP about 3 days ago. Yet, it is showing the old number. By checking the "edit profile" section, it shows the updated number. But when I check it in incognito and on Google Maps. It is still showing the old number.

Why has the phone number not been updated till now? How to fasten the process. Also, will changing the number affect the ranking?

I have been noticing that, whenever I publish a GBP Update post, the image that I have used while publishing the posts, its quality drops. It becomes blurry, likes, its get compressed by Google. I scheduled the post earlier; is this the reason it's happening? What could be the possible reason for this? How to solve this issue?

Extract businesses which are worth targeting-- Call and ask for an offline appointment-- show them the audit report, and then try to close them

There was a client for whom I had fixed an appointment. Then, on the scheduled day, the prospect doesn't receive any of my calls, and no response from him. I have created a full audit report and am prepared to meet him and explain the report to him, and then try to onboard him. But they are ghosting me. They are not replying to or answering the calls.

I can't understand what is the reason behind this. How to effectively reach out?

Newbie here. Long story short. I was talking on the call to a prospect, everything went fine, and I explained the audit report to him. Then he asked, have you worked with other businesses or not. I said that I have worked with a travel agency and improved their local visibility in the city. Then he searched the keyword( service+city) and then said, the business I have worked for is not coming in the Top 3.
I got confused, can't decide what to say. How to explain this thing? I know, map pack rankings are not fixed, it varies, but how do I explain this to a prospect? I said that the map pack rankings change according to your GPS location.

I said whatever came to my mind at that time. I am thinking that I have made a mistake, and the prospect will reject us.

Can anyone tell me the right way to handle this so that I can move the conversation to closing the deal?

I am working with two clients and I haven't figured out till now what the best way is to check local rankings. Like, I want to make sure that, whether I am working in the good direction and strategies or not. One way to do this is to manually search the SERP, but from the "Proximity" criteria of Google Local Pack ranking, it will show me the businesses that are best for the keywords in according to my fetched location. But if someone searches from another location, then it will show a different business. So, I think manually checking is not the right method. As it changes every time according to the location. Also, do I need the GSC of the website linked to GBP? Rn, I don't have access to it.

Correct me if I am wrong. Need help with this issue, because without proper tracking, I cannot decide whether my strategy is good or bad, and also, what I should tell the clients?

We have to write different types of content pieces for the purpose of SEO. Like, agencies have an in-house Content Writer, who writes all their content. But, like me, many people also do freelancing. So, how are you writing your content? Do you write it yourself and use an AI tool? If you are using AI Tools, then which tool is best, and what is the process, like any prompt, used for writing the content?
What are the things you look for to check that the content generated by AI is good for use?

Right now I am using ChatGPT, but it repeats similar content every time and also uses words that, by looking at, anyone can say are generated by AI. I am fed up with this shit. I need real advice on which works best.
