Help with purchasing base vs mid variant of Ronin.

I'm about to buy Ronin as my first bike, I went to 3 different showrooms for quotes and I got almost the same quote so haggling over the price.

I will be doing 400-600 kms tours once or twice a month, and almost 200 kms trips every week or two, with my girlfriend as my pillion and luggage.

So, ideally, Mid variant with dual channel abs is my pick, although I don't like the color and don't feel like paying 25k extra is justified for just dual channel abs, but, i also realise that 25k is nothing when it comes to safety and well-being of me and my loved ones.

Yesterday, I went to a showroom to check the earliest availability of the mid variant and the salesperson told me that I can have dual channel abs in the base variant.

Upon further inquiry, the salesperson told me that one can order additional abs kit from tvs and get it installed, as the base model does have slots for the abs, which is a new information for me.

Now, my questions are

Is this information actually true?

Should I go for the base model and get abs installed, or get a mid model?

Does additionally installed abs functions differently from pre-installed abs?

Bike Buying advise for newbie, Yamaha FZX

This is going to be my first bike, I do ride, and I've gone on bike rides with crazy rich but responsible people, who won't let people join their ride without proper gear and helmet.

I got a height of 5'5, and I'm planning to buy a bike for the first time in my life, and the most suitable bike I found for me is FZX

It covers my requirements of

  1. Straight sitting posture

  2. Ample of space for pillion/luggage

  3. Backrest modification for pillion

  4. Under 200cc, for power as well as mileage point

  5. For daily commute + twice a month 300kms ride

  6. Flat single seat

I've tried

  1. Bajaj Avenger 160: rejected for low mileage and parts unavailability

  2. TVS Ronin 225: Inconsistent service and parts availability

  3. Yamaha XSR155: perfect, but out of budget as it starts from 1.75L

  4. Bajaj Pulsar N160: sporty and elevated pillion seat

  5. Hero Xtreme 125r: Rampant engine issues

A few things which are holding me off from buying FZX are:

  1. Feels underpowered, as mentioned by many people

  2. Only single channel ABS, bikes with similar price got dual channel ABS

  3. Suggestions that I can get more for the same price or I should push for XSR155

I want an opinion about these points, as this is going to be my first bike and I'm still 3 months of savings away from buying it on cash. Help me make my decision a great one.

I don't want too much power, as I'll mostly ride with my gf, so I won't be crossing 60-70 on a usual day, occasionally I'll try to hit 100, but only for a couple minutes.

I prefer safety overall, so will having a single channel ABS compromise my safety and my loved one?

I will be taking slightly long road trips from Ujjain -> Omkareshwar -> Ajanta -> Ellora -> Statue of Unity, for 2 weeks, so will this bike be worth the savings and efforts?
