CVS IMZ

How do record that a patient has either received an imz elsewhere or decline so that it doesn't continue to prompt them?

Mail order Controlled meds

Just some random thoughts/questions for those of you that are the mailorder gurus.

Does mailorder have to use USPS as the carrier for controls? I know the carrier must have DEA license so Im assuming UPS/FedEx does

An 18 y/o can sign for delivery but not have to show ID. Why is it different at the community pharmacy where they would have to show ID as well ? Im assuming that they are picking up for someone else and know their birthday. Just seems logical in case it got delivered to wrong address. Plus I always thought it was law unless mailorder is excluded. I know several independent pharmacies that delivery that have a tablet that scans signature and reads ID.

Also how does this get reported to DEA if package goes missing/misdelivered/capsules melted together/etc. I guess what Im asking here is where the the chain of custody begin and end with everyone involved.

Finally quit 2day.

Well after incessant metrics about shots, ready when promised, and our impact scores Im finally out. Giving them 2 weeks. Im older and they didn't give me benefits working 48hr pay period plus they took a week from me last month for salaried staff .DM is like we really need you...We'll your actions dictate otherwise.

Anyway good luck to everyone else and may the odd be forever in your favor.

Processing prescriptions for veterans using urgent/emergency care is horrible. Tricare never works because they want to mail antiviral, abx, steroid, topical or other short term med.

Does anyone have any suggestions other than calling insurance for 20 minutes to try to get an override?

Our veterans definitely deserve better.

So corporate sends emails text messages zipline faxes Morse code whatever at least twice a day wanting more vaccines.

Had to turn away shingles shots today because they are not being ordered and I can't manually order in Cardinal. Digging a ditch with a spoon.
