AI tool that gives CEFR speaking score…… what actually works at volume?

we’re screening quite a few candidates every month and the English assessment side is getting a bit messy
rn we use one test for grammar/reading and another step for speaking, so we end up with different scores to compare and extra work for the recruiters.
been wondering if it makes more sense to use one speaking assessment that gives a CEFR level first, then manually check the borderline cases instead of interviewing everyone.
Versant and Linguaskill keep coming up and smalltalk2me is another one we’ve been looking at while comparing options.
for anyone hiring at volume, what setup has worked best? automated screening first, live interviews for everyone or a mix of both?
also how much do u actually trust the CEFR score without listening to the candidate yourself?

best tools for paying global remote teams at once…. what actually matters?

tryin to simplify payments for a remote team spread across different countries and the more I look into it, the more it feels like the headline fee is only part of the story
FX, delayed payouts, support and all the paperwork around contractor agreements/IP stuff seem to matter way more once you’re doing this every month
been comparing EasyStaff, Garna and SalaryHub along with a few others, but it’s hard to tell from the websites what actually becomes annoying once you’re paying a bigger team regularly
for ppl managing international contractors, what ended up mattering most after a few months? payout reliability, FX, support, paperwork or something else?
and did u end up keeping everyone on one platform or splitting things depending on the country?

what are u using to pay international contractors rn?

been reviewing our contractor payment setup again because the more countries involved, the more annoying the small details get
payments themselves aren’t really the hard part. it’s the FX, which payout methods are actually available, and keeping the contracts/IP paperwork organized without creating extra work every month
we used 4dev for a while and have also been looking at SalaryHub and Garna. each seems to handle the process a little differently, especially once documentation and conversion costs come into it
for anyone running a remote dev team across different countries, what ended up mattering most after a few months of actually using the platform??
fees, payout reliability, support, paperwork or something else?

what paperwork do u actually need for cross border contractor payouts?

we’ve got arnd 30 remote contractors across a few countries and normal bank transfers aren’t always as straightforward as they should be.
before we settle on a platform, I’m tryna work out what they actually handle with each payment and what still falls back on us. things like closing docs, IP transfer clauses, compliance records and what happens if a payout gets delayed or rejected
we’ve looked at a few providers but a lot of the important details aren’t that clear from the pricing pages…. FX markup is another one that’s been confusing me, since the advertised fee doesn’t always seem to reflect the full cost
for anyone managing international contractors, what do u ask to see before signing up?? sample agreements, a full fee breakdown, KYC requirements, proof of payment, something else?
