Do super low days stop once you build your customer base up enough?

I hear the sentiment that everyone has low paying days sometimes. I sure have had my share haha. Was there a point where your pool of regulars/followers grew enough that you can always count on a certain amount hourly, even slower days?

I guess speaking for myself, I had an occasional under minimum wage day a few times and it sucked. But now I’m hitting $40/hr regularly, and $25 to $30 is my “low” day. Much better than the handful of $7/hr days I’ve been humbled by 🫪 Just wondering if those days are likely over or if every model, even the ones making $100+/hr regularly, still gets hit with a super shitty hourly average every once and a while?

Trying to manage my expectations about my growth I guess 😅💕

What’s your experience working the overnight shift?

It seems pretty common for models to do well on the late night shift, especially Fri/Sat. That has been my experience as well. I’ve carved out a nice lil group of regulars and I have fun working those shifts. However it’s starting to suck missing every single weekend to go out with friends cause of work xD

Also, I’ve adopted a graveyard shift sleep schedule and… I lowkey love it so much. I am naturally a night owl and feel way more rested!! But the flip side is I’m starting to realize the impact it has on seeing friends as often, and I think my brain is still adjusting. Sometimes when I wake up at 2 pm I feel like I’ve “missed the whole day” even though mine just started, and then I just sort of waste a few hours figuring out how to spend my strange hours of the day awake haha.

I’m hopeful I can find a sleep schedule that works or adapt to this one more. For going out I’m thinking I can occasionally work a weekday when I want to take a weekend off, or work earlier that night to get off in time to go out or something… idk. Just wondering if others have experienced these feelings and how you’ve managed it :) (or if you decided to let go of that schedule and do earlier/more weekday shifts)

Achieved my child hood dream lol

When I was younger I wanted a baby paint brush more than anythinggggg. I named my current account “thisistheonefrfr” because I was determined to keep my eyes on prize and finally save to buy one 🤩 She’s perfect lol

I haven’t had insomnia episodes since changing to a night owl schedule

For the first time in my life I feel like I’m falling asleep easily and waking up before my alarm most days. Recently had to switch to a 6 am ish to 2 pm ish sleep schedule and ever since then it feels like I get better sleep, and it’s way easier for me to focus when I’m awake. Bout to go to bed lol. Blows my mind.

I only start to doubt myself after I deal with a client who pushes boundaries a lot

Most of the time I’m super excited and love doing this. I love the money, I love the autonomy, I love feeling empowered from it. Last week I had a client who I didn’t know how to “handle”, lost money, and I’ve been zapped ever since. I also had shit streaming quality and made less b/c of that, which should be fixed now. I’m going to work tonight and I’m trying to refresh my mindset. Does anyone else go through this?

I have since reflected on what went wrong with the client and how to go about it in the future. But for whatever reason when I deal with interactions like that (rare, but this is my 2nd) I get super in my head about the risks of this job. I start to question whether all this is worth it. But I KNOW it is. I’ve deep dived the hell out of it in my mind. I’m just trying to build the mental resilience when I have moments of weakness like this. I went from loving this and the life I could build from it to questioning it every day :( I guess part of learning how to do well is learning how to pull myself out of mental funks when they come :’)

Also I just wanna shout out how tough the learning curve can be! I continue to study/learn/grow, but dealing with certain types of clients and learning how to hold boundaries with shitty men can be such a trial and error. It’s not like we have formal training to prepare us, even if we read up in advance, it can be so out of left field when something happens in the moment and the learning takes place after :’) I’m proud of everyone haha ⭐️

Advice asking for payment from someone

I KNOW I should always accept payment in advance. I’m just now starting to use Snapchat and I got caught up in the moment. Someone said they’d pay me my hourly rate to pay attention to them instead of going live.

I was able to advocate “I need you to pay for our 2 hours of sexting before we continue with a video call” and he did, but he still owes me for the hour video call. I originally told him $150 for the 2 hours which was a deal on my part, he tipped me $200 which is my actual rate. I’m worried when I ask for the other hour of pay he’s going to say that’s why he gave me $200 instead of $150. Which would still be an undercharge for the last hour even with my deal included. Idk. Dealing with men is so frustrating they’re so stubborn/weaponized incompetence sometimes - I just need to go into it preparing for push back and I’m anxious about it :(

Advice on actual wording and/or how to toughen up going into it? 😅 I’m a newbie, still learning. A reminder to have firmer boundaries about only accepting pay in advance!!!! Silver lining is I think this man is obsessed w me so he’s gonna have to pay at some point if he ever wants to see me again lol.

What are your favorite tips/tricks/motivators for pulling 10 - 12 hours in a day?

I’m also wondering - is it normal for it to get easier to stay on longer as you gain more experience? I kinda assumed I’d get increasingly burnt out 😅 But so far it’s like the opposite? I used to struggle to stay on more than 2 - 3 hours. Then 4, and last night I had a goal of doing 6 hours, didn’t make what I wanted so I stayed on an hour and a half longer til I did. Could have stayed on longer if it wasn’t past my bedtime! I’m kinda confused by that and wondering how it goes for others lol.

I need to make a lot of money asap so I want to try to hit some higher goals for hours I stay on. Every time I say I’m gonna do that I give up and sign off early but I am really trying to build the grit for it.

Anyone else have to work through mental blockages around making more money?

lol, a weird Q. I average around $35 - $60/hrhr, yay! I’m still baby. When I crunch numbers, I feel like working up to $150/hr is the goal to live my best life.

But liiiiekekekekiiikeee I grew up poor, I’ve never had money like that. And there’s this weird internal ..fear around it? I get in my own way. Find reasons not to start multistreaming yet, or get in my head when I could be making more $ from a client but stop myself from engaging as much with if things feel “too good” already. Like my brain believes $50 ish/hr is the ceiling for me so why try for more and disappoint myself 😭💀

I also realize that the more $ I make, the more likely I’ll be found out. I have already accepted this is a risk no matter what. Most of my friends know and my family wouldn’t have a problem with it. But there’s still some embarrassment/shame I’m undoing. TBH dirty talk is one of my biggest strengths. Idc if friends/fam know I do this work. But if the men in my life saw me butt ass naked talking about draining someone’s cock it would be awkward lol 💀💀💀 ultimately it’s worth the risk lol. But I am working through the uncomfy feelings about this too, which also adds to the money increase block.

This is sort of just a brain dump to help me process and commiserate. Anyone go through this? Overcome it? Working through it now?? Feelings are non linear, for all the moments like this, I have others where I feel on top of the world for being a cam girl :) I really do love it, and I know working through my insecurities will only add more value to my life 🙂‍↕️💓

I’d love to hear your positive experiences dating as a cam girl 💕

Hello! I recently re-entered this line of work and I love it! I feel confident my family/friends would be understanding if they find out (I’ve told a handful already). The one thing that I get stuck on as far as the risks in this industry go is wondering how to navigate the dating world. I know it definitely makes my pool smaller haha. I’m in no rush to date so that’s fine. But if I ever want to… I’d just like some stories about how it can go well, what it’s like to date someone who loves you unconditionally or thinks it’s cool you’re a cam girl, etc. like what does a healthy relationship as a SWer look/feel like to you? :) I think it would help me process to be able to envision what healthy dating looks like for SWers 💕

Trying to decide on renting a hotel so I can cam or use the $ I have to pay someone back 😭

I’m in between vanilla jobs and I have exactly enough money to pay people I owe money back, or I could rent a hotel and cam. I live somewhere that I can’t make any noise and I am also faceless… I was making anywhere from $25 - $100 before a 6 month break when I speak to my chat. I experimented with faceless/no talking and made $5 an hour recently 🥴 I also dk how much my break killed my placement in the algorithm (cb).

So like basically I want to go make MORE money at the hotel so I can people people back plus have more $ 😬 But it’s a gamble and if I spend that money and don’t make more, I can’t pay people back at all and I would be so stressed about that. What would u do 😭

It would be Saturday and I’m thinking I could cam 10 - 12 hours 😗

Coming back after 6 months - wondering if it’s worth starting a completely new account

Hello! I started on CB a while back and loved it. Life happened, and I took a 6 month break. I have est. 2.5k followers still. I know I’d lose the new tag if I started a new account, but I’m wondering if it could be worth it to start over?

Reasons:
-I want to be faceless now, I wasn’t before
-I feel like I sorta trained my audience poorly as a noobie. Just sorta gave too much power to my regulars, didn’t charge enough for certain things, etc.

I sort of dread coming back to this same account and having to deal with explaining why I want to be faceless now and also having to hold firmer boundaries where I didn’t have them before. I learned a lot from that first run but I am coming back with new cam girl wisdom 🧠 And it feels like it would be easier to rebrand if I just started completely over?

Alternatively I could try a new site, but I tried camsoda (only 1 stream lol) and it flopped, I did so well immediately on CB I’m anxious to step out of it 👀

I’d love to hear from anyone who’s wanted to rebrand before and what you decided! If it’s better to deal with my current base and figuring out the uncomfy social navigation of that I will but 😑 really want a clean slate 😗
