Recovery time question

I shed like crazy 1 year ago but since then I hadn't shed much, but also haven't seen regrowth either. Not long ago I noticed also more thinning in crown area more than before (it's TE diagnosed by professional, not AGA) and fixed one of possible causes, which was vitamin D for me just this month. I've noticed lots of tiny hairs that don't add any volune start coming in over the last 30 days, but as I said, they are so thin you can't really see them all that much. So my question is : how long until my hair is back? Or at least until my scalp is not as visible? It's really visible now, especially under light and at my vertex, and I have school coming up in 2 weeks which gives even more anxiety.

How long does regrowth last?

Now I know shedding phase lasts around 3 months (12 in my case since i failed to correct drficiencies) and now i can feel small hairs poking through, it's almost like I have a normal medium length hair and a buzz cut at the same time when i touch it, but in the mirror it doesn't look a lit better. I started feeling it around 20 days ago, but visually barely anything has changed. I also think that my hairs started shedding again, just not as bad as they were in the beginning. What is happening???

How important is Vitamin D for hair regrowth?

Recetly i lost 50% of hair throughout my scalp (16 yrs old) and been diagnosed with diffuse thinning, it could be due to stress and losing 22 kilos in span of 1 year and also prolonging the calorie deficit for another year, but i also got rly low vitamin d... It's been more than a year since I started losing huge volume and i got my blood tested recently, my D3 was at 12ng/dl. I am taking supplements and going into the sun more now, but how important is vitamin d3 for hair loss? I mean i find it hard to believe that just 1 deficiency can cause this much hair loss at such young age

Tldr I am 16 i lost a lot of hair and inquiring if low vitamin d could be the sole reason it's not regrowing in over a year

At 15 i started seeing a lot of shedding and then i noticed how my hairs were so low density I could see my scalp everywhere. It's been 12 months and it's still here, back then i started seeing shedding my nutrients were alright but I lost 22 kilograms back then in the span of 1 year, it could've triggered the cause but then why hasn't it restored after so much time? i took blood test result for b12 ferriting foliate zinc and d3, everything is fine besides d3 (12ng/ml, i've been drinking vitamins for 3 weeks, and surely low d3 can't be the only reason for this many problems at this young age?
