IQ Test Confirmation?

My parents recently sent me some old papers and things after cleaning out my childhood home. Among those papers was a Slosson HIT test I took when I was around 8 years old, which had an IQ at the top listed at 129.

I remember going into my aunt's (who was a school psychologist) basement for an afternoon and taking a bunch of tests but I never knew why. My parents later told me that I was being evaluated for learning disabilities and ADHD as I was doing poorly in school at the time. Anyway, I never knew the results until now. My parents never told me.

While I know I'm not a genius, 129 is fairly high, roughly 96th percentile. I was surprised because I have always felt really average, never considered myself especially smart.

Well, I was curious to see if this held up into adulthood, so I just took the Mensa online test and did pretty well, I guess, at 131.

I'd say these two test confirm each other, right? I probably fall somewhere between the 95th to 98th percentile or 125-133?

Not super meaningful for my life now, but just an interesting fact I suppose.

Replacing the patio...what do I do with the brick?

Thinking about building a ground-level deck here to completely replace the patio. To the professionals or those with experience, how would you deal with the brick in the current patio? Remove the whole thing or build on top and remove where the footers would go? Or some other solution??

Thanks!

It sucks, but the customer loves it!

Preface. I have never made a damn thing out of wood in my entire life.

I recently inherited a bunch of tools and I'm trying to learn how to use them and the absolute basics of woodworking.

Woke up really early this morning and instead of zoning out and watching TV, I went into the garage and made something.

I had a peice of scrap wood laying around. No clue what it is honestly bit it's REALLY soft, like 2 steps above cardboard lol.

I was inspired by my folding knife and thought it may be easy to replicate. Here's how it turned out.

Is it a masterpiece? Hell no. Did I spend entirely too much time on this? Absolutely. The important thing? The customer (my 6 year old son) thinks it's the coolest thing in the world! It made my day to see him play with it.

Used a jigsaw, spoke shave and a sander on this.

Inherited Woodworking Tools

These tools were my father in law's. He passed a few years ago and my MiL offered them to me. Ive taken the miter saw, jig saw and bench saw but also interested in these older tools like the hand planes, radial arm saw and wood lathe.

Im a very beginner woodworker but I really want to broaden my skills.

Realistically can these tools be tuned up and used (maybe it's hard to tell from the pics)? I have no clue the last time they were operated.
