It’s debilitating. I’ve cancelled my plans for the last 2 weekends and have stayed inside. I can’t even kiss my boyfriend. It’s so bad and I’m extremely self conscious. The smell is disgusting but there is no infection or pain. Is this normal? Bc WTF!!!!!
Title: Anyone else have TERRIBLE breath/smell from extraction stitches?
I’m on day 5 after a tooth extraction and my stitches smell absolutely horrible 😭 Like genuinely one of the worst smells ever. I noticed it especially when I accidentally touched the suture/floss and realized the smell seems to be coming directly from around the stitches.
I’ve been doing gentle salt water rinses and trying not to mess with the area. I don’t have major swelling or severe pain, so I’m wondering if it’s just food/bacteria/old blood getting caught around the stitches while everything heals. I also did water flossing and used syringe. There’s this big white particle that won’t go away. Sent pic to dentist they said it’s dead skin.
Did anyone else experience really bad breath or a nasty smell/taste from their extraction stitches? Did it go away once the stitches dissolved/were removed, or did your dentist have to clean the area?
Literally drank tequila last night and all day today was in and out of bathroom having terrible cramping and barely able to poop. Then I got home after 6 hours and had another bad cramp and looked down and saw this. These are two times split between few hours this happened. Is something bad happening? Took 2 peptos today.
I’m 3 days late for my period and tested positive on a pregnancy test last night. I’m honestly shocked, but also not at the same time given the fact I irresponsibly had sex without a condom during ovulation. Definitely a huge learning lesson and I’m feeling really overwhelmed and scared right now. :(
Does anyone have advice or experiences with the abortion pill? Also, if conception likely happened from a friends-with-benefits situation I’ve had for over a year, how do you even navigate that conversation? Or do people sometimes just not bring it up? I genuinely don’t know what to do.

- Intercourse: Saturday April 25
- Tested positive: May 15
