How much real instrument recording VS in program MIDI do you use?

Especially in regard to drum tracks, is it worth micing up my kit and laying down beats or do you find you can achieve the same thing within Logic? And if so, what do you use - I’m using a keyboard atm but am looking into better equipment if it means more freedom/control with drums, synths, effects etc… best controllers for bedroom production?

Thx!

Where should we go? (Comparing Europe to Japan)

Hello!

My brother and I (18 and 21) are planning a trip for this summer. He’s been all around Europe and I’ve only travelled inside North America.

We’re thinking between Italy, Spain and Japan- We have to keep budget in mind obviously but unless flights/destinations are outrageously expensive, we’re open to pretty much anywhere.

We want somewhere that balances nice relaxing weather and beaches (ideally) but also with fun nightlife. Maybe somewhere with a cool music scene or fun clubs/restaurants when it gets dark out. We basically just want to explore but also enjoy nature and relax. I would also like to bring my camera, hiking and horseback riding would be a bonus as well

I have a lot of friends who recommend Japan, but it seems pretty different than anywhere else or the places i mentioned. To people who have been to both- which did you like better/get more out of? Or just in general, where would you recommend we consider going?

Thanks :-)

Bleeding plan B

I took a plan B a couple days ago and today I started bleeding like crazy. I’m bleeding through tampons, and when I take them out blood literally gushes out of me. The only other side effect is cramping. Period isn’t supposed to be for another 12 days. Is this normal? How bad does it need to get before I go to urgent care?

Side note: should I start taking birth control? I’ve had to take plan B three times over the span of ~4 months cause of condom breaks. Plan B messes with my body, mood, is expensive - my boyfriend doesn’t buy it for me, so it adds up, and it’s messing with my mental health having to take it.

Thanks.

Crazy bleeding after plan B

I’ve taken plan B 3 times now in the span of ~5 months due to condom breaks. Each time, my body has reacted pretty bad - bleeding, cramps, mood problems, etc.
The first time I took it I was still really worried about pregnancy since I was either already ovulating or had already ovulated - but I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I took one again a few days ago and today, I started to bleed an alarming amount. I don’t think it’s my period - I’m 12 days from my next one. But I’ve bled through 3 tampons in less than 3 hours and it’s been going all day. The only other side effect I have is light cramping. I don’t feel sick otherwise.

Is this a normal reaction to plan B?
Side note - do you think it’s worth it to go on birth control? I’m sick of spending so much on plan B and having to deal with my cycle being all messed up after. My boyfriend doesn’t buy it for me and it’s kind of messing with my mental health having to keep taking it.
I’m just worried about birth control side effects.

Thanks
