[US] What happens if you don't do talent prep? Do we still get a bonus?

Curious what happens if we don't set priorities, get feedback etc. Would we still get a bonus at the eoy? Do we get laid off?

Alaska ascent card keeps getting flagged as fraudulent

I got the Alaska ascent card at the end of April for the main purpose of paying rent via Bilt and airline purchases with Alaska. My first 2 transactions was a one way flight with Alaska airline. The first transaction was successful then it gets flagged as fraudulent and my account gets locked. The only option I had to verify the transaction was to call. I waited over an hour to finally speak with someone and verify the transaction wasn’t fraudulent.

Then the next transaction was with Bilt on May 29th (that’s when my rents scheduled to be paid). It gets flagged as fraudulent and the only option to unlock the card is to call again. Waited 40 minutes this time to get my card unlocked and the next day the transaction was successful.

On June 29th, Bilt again tries to charge my card. Surprise, it gets flagged as fraudulent, card is locked, and only option is for me to call to get my card unlocked. Waited 50 minutes this time and the representative mentioned he’ll make a note on my account that this transaction is recurring. Since the transaction failed yesterday, Bilt tries to make a purchase again. And my card gets flagged again.

Help!!!

Cooking with red wine counts as relapse?

I made a stupid decision today. I saw a meat marinara sauce recipe online that required a half cup of red wine. I thought the alcohol would just burn right off.

I sauted the meat and added the wine and cooked for 5 mins. Then added marinara sauce and cooked another 5 mins. After eating a bowl, my stomach feels a little sore and it does feel like I have had a drink. I immediately threw out the sauce and wine.

Anyone have experience cooking with wine or have done something similar?

$2800 rent for a 1 bedroom a good deal? 15 mins walk from campus

I just found a place that’s $2800 per month and about a 15 min walk to campus. Is this something I should sign asap? I’m still waiting for the lottery decision but would it be around the same price point if I get it?

Any tips on finding housing near campus?

I'll be moving to NYC for the fall semester. I'm seeing pretty decent 1br option near campus right now. Is the move to move early before these get snagged up? Anyone mind sharing their experience finding a place when moving?
