Here's my definition of Mid Tier:

Does not explicitly scale in either attack power, durability or speed to the high tier MHA characters/feats (like the Embers Punch or Star Arc's Relativistic dodges, meaning anyone who can stand up to a Near High End realistically for whatever reason) without some very dubious chainscaling, sometimes even relying on their own feats for scaling moreso

Also not hax merchants that are otherwise hopeless against high-tiers either

Doesn't have to be from the picture here but I think that these are some candidates

Honorable Mentions: Simon Gollini, Leviathan, Serpenters, Chimera

These four all have good feats (Holding off the rest of the students and pros with a bunch of summons, 1v1 Shoto, 2v1 Bakugo, 4v1 1A Students and lost to dura neg)

NOBODY talks about him, insanely easy to use ranged Quirk, can one shot Spinnerzilla, destroys a lot of OFU AFO's whips boosted by Jiro's Quirk, nerfed by being a side char

Now before downvoting and disagreeing, I want to clarify the main argument for more than just a few characters that should be able to replicate similar AP levels to the most impressive feat in the series.

Deku is so battered and tired after facing Full Power Shigaraki and being elft on Embers that Kurogiri can intercept his charge

The same Kurogiri was effectively blitzed by USJ All Might before he could take advantage of his portal hax, meaning that Deku arguably would not just be comparable to Weakened All Might on Embers but actually be beneath his USJ self, which makes sense given how Emaciated AFO notes how they have both grown weaker yet can at least barely survive Deku's first punch

Why did Deku say he's a bit stronger than All Might with his Embers Punch?

A fair counterargument, but it wouldn't make sense in the context of running on Embers and battered for one simple reason: Once Deku masters Full Cowling his AP and Speed are proportional to his percentages/power used. Why would he be so slow that Kurogiri can effectively intercept him but still be able to put 100% of OFA without extra quirks into his blow? Admittedly, you can argue that Kurogiri had a lot more time to react to Deku's charge than he did against All Might at USJ, but the same guy was spazzing out of control and literally died from exertion afterwards so he would be weakened to.

TLDR: At best Deku should only be slightly stronger than USJ All Might, so the tiers are not affected much with this consideration regardless

Some explanations for rankings:

ITS ONLY IN TERMS OF AP AT THEIR FEASIBLE PEAK (besides Tamaki he's a bum), NOT OVERALL POWER OR CONSISTENT COMBAT ABILITIES OR DURABILITY UNLESS SPECIFIED (Although Gigantomachia probably has more dura than AP)

Deku with Gearshift is 120% stronger than his regular 100% state if not more combined with the All Might 60x statement potentially, this can go further with other quirks like Fajin's Quintuple Detroit but I'm good

Nejire can slightly bruise Shigaraki's main body with Pike and Mirio's help

Best Jeanist with Carbon Fibers specifically

A lot of characters in the lower tiers fought near high end Nomus or some of the characters above and could injure them fairly, but it's contentious for a reason so I can understand potential disagreement

Must counterbalance a bad tierlist with a good one cuh

Strongest versions of each I hope I don't have to explain the outdated images

Gotta complete the Newgen trinity of posts even if it means risking to summon a certain CSM glazer

The strongest character I'll be tackling in this series in none other than the big bad himself in his strongest form. We all know AFO has a lot of Megumi in him especially with certain quirks, but the feats and BIQ he performs in Rewind while being jumped by arguably a stronger squad than the Coffin In The Sky fighters (minus Aizawa/Monoma) are pretty decent too at face value even if My Disney Academia doesn't let anyone die besides Gigantomachia and Stain. I genuinely believe he could have given a challenge to Deku or Shigaraki especially towards the beginning of Rewind.

(Wouldn't it be funny if the title was just engagement bait to get more attention for my declining series and I didn't bother to elaborate any bit more on it? JJK Fan literacy test experiment starts NOW!)

The GOAT, the original Gojo of MHA Hawks swoops by to prove just why he was the youngest prodigy that swooped the Hero Ranks and rightfully earned his #2 spot as the second strongest Pro post AM retirement.

Sadly, Icarus flew too fast too close to the sun, but now he's a quirkless man with free time on his hands, and a solidifed top 12 MHA char

For the next character in my series, it's none other than the #1 Modern Era hero Lemillion, who can put smiles on everybody's faces while kicking villain booty.

He's been downplayed a bit too much recently in my weekend posts on Mirio VS Rengoku when IMO he completely outclasses the latter, so I decided to point-out his rather impressive feats and scaling for such a potential Quirk, solidifying him as a Weakened All Might Tier fighter minus the AP, especially in terms of Battle IQ, experience, determination/tenacity and AGILITY

Switching gears from Kaisen to DS since it was pretty hot yesterday, I do have them scaling vaguely below or above Gyutaro's and Nakime's MCB/Town level destruction/shaking since most of them fight stronger Demons afterwards even if it's an outlier as well as Kaigaku and Hantengu's lightning dodging for combat speed, but that means that I won't accept lowballed MHA either lmao.

As for people fighting demons I will admit that regen makes a lot of the fights much harder for them, so let's say it's half an hour from sunrise or something and incapacitation works.

Chizome Akaguro, the Hero Killer who killed 40 something Pro Heroes in the name of true justice, an antagonist with such a basic Quirk defeated early on by a trio of rookies? Surely the 8% Deku victim was holding back, right? Well, he was.

He might only be an alleyway merchant street-tier, right? Since MHA superhumans are questioned so much, I'd like to bring up evidence of some otherwise very solid city-block to town level Mach something feats in the greater narrative of the series beyond the few antifeats, including an exemplary display in Vigilantes despite being an inexperienced, weaker version without his final morals and how he elevated his performance when coming back as a martyr for the final war despite barely contributing to anything beyond the accumulated delay of AFO.

The anime slop articles are really funny to come across with how people get paid for this shit, at least they're right that Awakened Bakugo>OFA Bakugo heh
