What is the best way to repair this? It’ll be rendered so it doesn’t have to be perfect
Thanking you in advance.

Sanding fine detail on spindles

I am relishing a 40 year old magazine table. It has had 2 coats of lead paint on it which I have painstakingly removed. I’m now working on the spindles. As you can see, they are quite detailed. I am patience and am not looking for perfection but I need help with how to tackle the crevasses. Tools, dremel attachments etc
Any suggestions other than ‘don’t bother’ would be appreciated.
Thanking you

Ultrasonic barking device

I’ve had a rescue girl for a year now. She is a good sweet girl. She gets tons of exercise with me & her older doggy brother. Twice a day walks, the beach every morning & neighbourhood every afternoon.
We have a large fenced yard & she has a doggy door to come in & out of the house at will.
Lately as she has become more comfortable here, her barking has increased at the fence. If someone is walking down the street or on the footpath across the street, she barks…a lot. It sets off the other dogs on the street & I don’t want to annoy the neighbors. I know she is protecting her yard & I want that but I also want her to stop when I ask or when the ‘threat’ is gone.
Nothing so far has works & I’m considering getting on of those devices where you push the button & it emits a high frequency sound only dogs can hear & they get distracted & stop barking.
My question is do these things really work? What is there range? Has anyone tried any that they recommend?

Cut back my lomandra?

I have several lomandra in my garden. They are looking pretty straggly. I’m wondering if I should cut them back this time of year to rejuvenate them for the spring. Does anyone have any information for me? Thanking you
