What do I do with my arms when I'm dancing? 😅 If this is you, check out this Arms Masterclass online workshop on Aug 29 with Lulu 🤓

I recently saw someone in here posting this exact question - I don't remember who it was, but I know you are not alone in this issue! Which is why my online platform PoleSphere is hosting ExoGen worlds Flow winner Lulu in an online masterclass on how to use your arms to enhance your choreo, and help you take it to the next level.

This is a really unique workshop, useful for beginners all the way through to elites - those who are just starting their journey, and those who have been dancing for years but still don't feel confident in their arm-work.

If you're interested to know more and you aren't a PoleSphere member, you can book here: www.polesphere.com/events

All those booked will receive the recording to download and keep 🫶

Home pole dancer - level up 🎓

Are you a baby pole dancer, or just struggling with feeling inadequate, behind, or frustrated with your progress?

Perhaps, you’re an instructor who struggles to retain students?

I’d love to help you reframe your classes, allowing you to retain students with less effort and frustration. Also reduced injuries are always a good thing! In honor of back to school time 📚 I want to remind you that my teacher training course is included with any purchase! 🎓

The Veena method works and it’s the foundation of my teacher course and programs - Now’s the time to save big and learn why my students keep coming back. Even if you’re only looking to teach yourself, this is a great opportunity.

I’ll see you there!

Test if you’re ready to deadlift 💪

Test if your ready to work on deadlifting into Chopper or Aerial inverts - Hold for 3-5 seconds.

The black and white hanging demo isn’t unsafe, it’s demonstrating what it looks like if you’re not engaging all of the muscle groups required for this skill. By demonstrating the ability to pull the body up into side pole hold, then hold a diagonal body line. Incorporates all muscle groups required to take on the strain of learning to deadlift aka - Invert without momentum.

NOTE: Deadlifting is never the first method of invert to teach because if you’re not strong enough, it can cause chronic upper and lower back pain, hip, shoulder, and neck pain. You know that constant pain between the shoulder blades or nagging back pain? It’s your body telling you to listen. If you’re always feeling pain during or after inverts, stop and training your strength! In my method of teaching you’ll learn controlled momentum first as removes most of the strain of inverts off of the body and allows more students of all body sizes to invert. I only deadlift when needed otherwise, I use controlled momentum, because it flows better, looks like you’re floating, and saves energy!

Violator/Hello boys positioning

The POC is NOT on the crotch or tailbone - the pole rests on one butt cheek 🍑 PS Don’t confuse this with the wrist/forearm sit trick. While they’re similar the Violator is not a beginner trick.
