Ayesha help🥺
Hi everyone, I’m making this post because I’m honestly getting really desperate. For the last three or four months, I’ve been working incredibly hard on getting my first Ayesha, but no matter what I do or how I do it, I just can’t get it.
Over time, I realized that my back, for some reason, always stays bent like this, even when I’m doing something like a butterfly. I try to straighten it, but I can’t, and I don’t understand why I can’t create that triangle shape where my back stays straight and I would have better balance.
I’m really trying, but I’m slowly starting to give up because I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Any help or advice would be really appreciated.
New chrome pole still slippery after 7 months, any tips?
Hey everyone ✨
I’m here looking for some advice about my chrome X-POLE (Xpert Pro), I’ve had it for about 7 months now and practice on it at least 2–3 times a week, instead of becoming more “grippy,” it actually feels more and more slippery :/ I clean it after every session (and often during sessions too with the cloth).
At first I thought it was just because it was new and because of winter, but temperatures have warmed up a lot and honestly it feels even worse now... I’ve tried 70% alcohol (Isopropanol) without extra water and diluted, and 90% alcohol undiluted too, no noticeable difference. I’ve also tested at least 4 different grips (EnviroGrip or GripTinite: they work kinda meh and dry my hands out too much). I had some Lupit Pole grip pads that worked reasonably well for a while...
I also tried cleaning it with dish soap and a cloth, then wiping it again with 70% alcohol. It worked once, but the next day it was slippery again...
I’ve been doing pole for 4–5 years, I train in studios and perform too, and I’ve never really had issues with chrome except occasionally in winter with my dry skin. (Before my chrome pole I had an AGM podium with Gecko Grip)
Anyway sorry for the long post but I’m desperate at this point... I’d really appreciate any advice if you know what might not be working or what I’m doing wrong. I’m honestly starting to feel like there’s something wrong with my pole :(
Thank youuuuu ✯✯✯
At home pole on tile?
Hi, I'm planning on buying a lupit pole for my house, but I'm reading about how the tile may crack due to pressure. I have a good spot that I used a stud finder for the ceiling end and the tiles are big enough that I can avoid putting it over grout lines and it's not hollow when I knock on it. Is there anything else I could do to ensure the tile doesn't crack? Would a thin, non slip rubber mat be beneficial? TIA!
