I'm sorry if I'm not welcome here. I only want to answer questions related to Jax and learn more about the people on this subreddit. (I promise I'm not a Jax defender)

Hi guys, John Jaxxy girl here,

I want to talk about an issue that has gotten a lot more frequent recently. Some users have joined our subreddit for the sole purpose of harassing Jax fans. Although we allow Jax haters to contribute if its in good faith, the actions that a lot of them have been taking are not very nice ones.

To try to combat this, we've decided to remove posts and comment from users who frequent r/thatstupidbunnywehate. Our hope is that we can catch bad actors before their contributions get seen by others, and that our community continues to be a safe space for Jax fans.

If you are someone who has posted or commented in r/thatstupidbunnywehate in the past 30 days, and you either are not a Jax hater or you promise to keep the conversation civil, you may message the mods or wait until we manually approved your contribution.

We have told r/thatstupidbunnywehate about our decision and we are encouraging them to do the same. Even if we have differing opinions on the objectively best TADC character, we are all still human beings and we should treat each other as such.

I can't believe I have to say this, but PLEASE do not say homophobic or transphobic things ANYWHERE on the subreddit. We've had to ban 3 people now who have made transphobic remarks against gooseworx and the transgender community.

I want to make this very clear, if you are against the LGBTQIA+ community, you are not welcome here.

I've been dealing with a lot recently and I need a break from the internet. I was wondering if anyone would like to be a moderator of the subreddit so its moderated until I return.

It's been really tough lately, and to be honest, I'm starting to dislike tadc because of everything that has been going on the past few months, And has mainly been because of the horrible people in our community.

I think first thing that upset me was the drama that would happen every time you'd blink. I understand that most fandoms have stupid drama every two seconds so it's more of a fandom culture specific dislike but the drama about gooseworx's response to the leaks pissed me off. Why are we getting mad at the women who is getting her passion for her show slowly squeezed out of her like a tube of toothpaste because of shitty people, and not to mention the hate that she gets on a daily basis. This specifically has gotten so mad that the drama youtubers are getting on this and it's like, your not helping our reputation as an ass fandom by getting angry at her.

(Side tangent, but something that really irks me are the people who respond to posts that are like "we deserve to have our balls ripped out" with "who is we" and chewing out op for making the post. Idk it just really irks me, and I understand that not everyone in the community is bad and awful and there are so many cool people that I've met from being a part of the tadc fandom, but there is still a loud portion of us who are asses. Hell, even in our subreddit there were people who were harrassing others for not liking jax. Not even trolls or what not, like genuine jax fans who are active in the subreddit who were doing stuff that wasn't very okay to do. And imagine what gooseworx has to go through. I really think that collectively as a community WE ALL need to apologize to her for the shit that people associated with us have done. Think of it as picking up someone else's garbage for them after they littered.)

The final straw for me was really the people who would come to this subreddit and share information about the finale. SOMEONE TRIED TO SENT THE ENTIRE MOVIE AS A GIF. As someone who is going to see the movie in theatres and wanted to avoid as many spoilers as possible, I am sad that I know how the movie will end and that really upsets me. Like people cannot keep their traphole shut long enough to not ruin it for others. And I guess it is the price that I got to pay to keep this subreddit a safe space from spoilers but it really sucks that me and the rest of the mod team have to metaphorically jump in front of yall and stop the bullet.

Sorry. I have a lot of pent up frustrations. If theres anything I want people to get out of this it's that I'm tired of everything. I don't feel the joy for this show I once had and I probably won't be much of a fan after episode 9. I do plan to keep being a mod here for as long as possible, so y'all aren't getting rid of me :3

We've noticed that recently people have been sharing information about the recent leaks, so we are locking down the sub to prevent this from getting out of hand.
