When playing a record on my player (not sure what make it is but it’s an ION) it rises and falls casing the stylus to jump. I probably just need a new player but a bit annoying as I want to play stuff now. Any help would be greatly appreciate thank you.

I was just wondering if people can help me fix this issues. My cassette player is making high pitched noises on anything I play. It’s only just started doing this. It will have small breaks where it stops this noise but not long until it starts again.
