Visited Dinant as a one-day trip from Brussels and honestly it was worth it.

I took the train from Brussels to Dinant, which cost around €23 return, and the town is very walkable from the station.

I first saw the beautiful Notre-Dame de Dinant by the river, then crossed the Charles de Gaulle Bridge with all the colorful saxophones, since Dinant is the birthplace of Adolphe Sax.

The best part was going up to the Citadel, which cost €15 and gives an amazing view of the Meuse River, the town, and the cliffs.

I also did the short river cruise, which was €13, and it was a relaxing way to see Dinant from the water.

With some snacks/food, the total cost came to around €60–65 for the day.

It is a small place, but the river, cliffs, Citadel, cathedral, saxophone bridge, and peaceful streets make it a really nice and easy day trip from Brussels.

Is a 1-hour layover in Zurich enough for Delhi → Zurich → Brussels?

Hi everyone,

I’m flying from Delhi to Brussels with a connection in Zurich. My layover in Zurich is only 1 hour before the onward flight to Brussels.

Since Zurich will be my first entry point into the Schengen area, I assume I will need to clear immigration/passport control there before boarding the Zurich → Brussels flight.

I wanted to ask if this connection is realistically feasible.

Has anyone done a similar Delhi → Zurich → Schengen destination transfer with only about an hour?

Need Advice: Schengen Type C Belgium visa: invitation letters mention 15 June–15 Sept, but I intend to stay only 90 days.

I am planning to apply for a Belgium Schengen Type C visa for a research visit at VUB Brussels under a university/project-supported research stay.

My intended stay is only 90 days, but there is one issue in my documents. Some of my invitation/support letters have already been printed with the dates written as:

15 June 2026 to 15 September 2026

However, I later realized that if both entry and exit dates are counted, this period is more than 90 days. I understand that a Schengen Type C visa allows only 90 days within a 180-day period.

My actual intention is to stay only 90 days, for example by leaving earlier, around 12 September 2026, but the printed letters currently mention 15 September.

My questions are:

Will this date mismatch create a problem during the visa application?

Should I get all letters corrected before submission to show exactly 15 June to 12 September 2026?

Can I explain in the cover letter that my stay will be only 90 days, even though some letters mention 15 September?

Has anyone faced a similar issue with Belgium/Schengen research visa documents?

I want to avoid any risk of refusal due to inconsistent dates. Any advice would be appreciated
