Still running some testing on tire size, body height and suspension. I tried the Tamiya stock tires and wheels, which looked good and performed... alright, but the new large wide tires look amazing and perform so good that the thing would be able to go toe to toe with a SCX10 (gen 1, at least). The body needs to be maybe a half inch higher, but we are on the right track

I recently stumbled over this fine expedition body that fits a Unimog 5023 body on Thingiverse, and took the prototype to the trail for some real world testing before painting. Looks great already! Should I go for a fire engine build, or an expedition camper?
