Currently looking to buy, but I'm not from Kilkenny.

My mother lives nearby in Tipp so I'm just looking at all places within a handy radius to her house. I work remote so I'm not looking for a job.

Yes, there are houses for sale near her but it's a desolate area and I have a kid. He needs some civilization around the place.

I checked Seville Lawns on google maps and it seems like there are no shops or bus routes or literally nothing in the area, a total ghost town. If you need to buy a carton of milk you are fucked.

Also when I googled the address I saw results about the "cultural" group we are not allowed to talk about on Irish subreddits.

Any advice?

We thought it was strange. Return trip from Ireland to Brazil with British Airways. I'm Irish, missus is Brazilian.

We flew from Ireland to Brazil, transit in Heathrow, terminal 2 to 5, no problem.

On the return transit in Heathrow, terminal 5 to 2, my Brazilian partner was threatened with deportation the next time she tried it. She needs something called an ETA.

That is fair enough if we left the airport and had a cup of tea on Oxford street.

But we literally landed from Brazil, got the internal free subway and bus things from terminal 5 to 2, and then were grilled by immigration at the "UK border" outside terminal 2.

Why the fuck is there are UK Border between terminal 5 and 2 on a transit flight?

Why are basically all posts like this? Is this how the younger generation in India communicate nowadays? (I'm a millennial aka old)

I am currently in Sao Paulo, visiting from Europe.

Apparently the plumbing system is not able to handle toilet paper, which is fine. I put the paper in the "lixeira" no problem.

But I don't understand this.

Sometimes my shit is bigger than my head. I have been eating a lot of carbohydates and carne and fat. Or maybe I make 20 smaller shits the size of 20 pão de queijo.

Why is it ok to fill the toilet with 30 kilogrammes of pao de cocô, but the system can't handle some toilet paper?

What about the very expensive and modern apartments I see everywhere? Can you flush toilet paper in these apartments?

I get very paranoid when I accidentally flush the paper in my Airbnb. Sometimes I forget about the lixeira.

Are all new builds listed on daft?

What about 2nd hand homes? Could they be listed anywhere else?

Should I be manually walking around with my legs and looking in the window of all the estate agent offices?

What about those bidding websites like auctioneera. Are those houses usually on daft too?

I have a 17 month old and she has been going to a childminder's house twice a week.

This childminder is not on any official list so I can't get any government refund but they are an official "company" i.e. they have a tax number etc.

But it's just a girl in her house with her own 2 year old son. It's not an actual professional operation.

I'm afraid I'm stunting my daughter's social skills by making her hang out with just one kid. I want her to experience more personalities.

Should I be sending my daughter to a creche? Or a montessori or whatever it's called? It's probably too late anyway because apparently I should have found a creche before I even dated her mother.

Or should I just find a childminder that takes care of more kids?

What should I do? I'm in Cork city if that matters.

I think I need a childminding / creche consultant. Like a mortgage broker, but for creches.
