Newly married roles

I'm just married for 7 months now and my husband and I have had some life changing circumstances. So we're discussing the role of man to protect and provide and the women to nurture and grow.

Now my husband is all about Christian values, for which I am truly grateful, but he thinks I should work and I would like to stay at home. He is able to comfortably allow this but he gets stressed out by financial stress.

So to ensure our home is peaceful I am going to work. But I am feeling some kind of way because i have the desire to stay home and raise my future kids.

Also to his credit my husband does work damn hard and provides for us presently. I just see how the stress of financial instability gets him down and that bothers me.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

This was one on the longest hardest waits I've experienced. The period of uncertainty and being unable to plan anything because everything was hinging on this answer.....

Worse yet when I've lived in Ireland for 3+ years and therefore didn't require a TB test and then they requested one..... But by the Grace of God I got a quick turnaround on my Test (though it cost an arm and a leg) and managed to send through the requested documents timeously.

Imagine my shock when I realised the IELTS test I had done was incorrect! The academic test I did for registration with my medical board in the UK (band 8 - CEFR C1) wasn't acceptable so I had to do another. But again praise God for a quick turnaround for that test time as well.

Today when I returned home from my IELTS test I got an email just before COB that my visa was successful. I know how hard the wait is and how disappointing when you receive emails about delays or others recieving their approvals and for that my heart goes out to you. Thank God it's over so I can finally join my husband and I'm trusting God that your day will come too.

General advice needed

Thanks for the guidance already but I have a few more questions.

  1. How long, generally, after you send additional documents do you get a decision?

  2. When you are approved and you enter from a CTA how do you activate the visa?

  3. Do we still get physical BRP cards or is it all on the share thingy?

Thank you in advance

Please help- Additional information needed

Context: marriage spousal visa - standard - outside

I received an email requiring more information. One of which is a TB test - I have been living in Ireland for 3years now so I believe it wasn't warranted but it seems it is.

And more relationship proof. I've submitted my marriage certificate as part of the application. So with regards to the communication aspect. Do I send the full chat report of WhatsApp or screenshots?

I was also thinking of adding some proof of flights to visit with eachTother and screenshots of call logs.

I guess my other question is how much is too much information?
