Charlton Women: WSL fixtures announced
Arsenal at home just before Christmas should be a good one - will be interesting to see how many they bring.
The club website list includes a game against Sheff Utd who are in WSL2🤦🏻♂️.

cafc.co.ukHow to find a replacement pickguard for a Jag that actually fits?
I want to find a mint pickguard (and, ideally, matching pickup covers) for the Jaguar on the left here, which is a CIJ (not sure of exact age as acquired secondhand. The last time I bought one it was just not quite right in terms of the screw hole positions. Any idea who might sell them, or what the key is to speccing one? I am in the UK, fwiw.
Borrowed Partsmaster
I thought the Offset fans might be interested in this partsmaster which I have on long term loan from a friend who put it together. Body was put together and finished with a nicely thin and wood grain-revealing finish by another friend. Neck is off a Fender Altered Reality Sixty-Six(!), Mastery bridge and trem, EMG active pickups and wiring set finish it off.
It’s really interesting, and I’m enjoying it a lot. My other main guitar is a CIJ Jaguar. I am too much of a vintage snob to go out and buy active pickups myself, but it turns out these are brilliant. Really good tones, nice variety of sounds, and completely noiseless.
I’ve put a set of D’Addario flatwounds (with plain third) on and they work very well.

charltonafc.com“Otherwise” a Portuguese(?) brand advertised on Insta - any experiences with them?
Anyone have any experience of these - or generally from the men’s clothes brands that get advertised on Insta but don’t have shops in the UK?
I keep getting adverts for what look like nice summer shirts, but I don’t know anything about the brand and the website looks a bit like someone might just have created a new brand out of nothing. Curious about people’s experiences with these things.

charltonafc.comI’m going to be visiting the V&A East later, and I wondered if there are any decent lunch places that you’d recommend around the Olympic Park? I’m thinking of sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc rather than a full blown dinner, and ideally not from a mega-chain. It’s been a few years since I was over that way last and I’m aware it’s probably changed a lot in the meantime. Interested to know what’s interesting, ie is there life beyond Westfield?
