I am an aspiring interior designer/interior architect who graduated two years ago with a bachelors degree. I live in a large city working with a large hard surface building materials distributor. There are little to no entry level jobs at ALL. I don’t know what to do as I am struggling in the position I am in and want to do design SO BADLY.
Anyone have any advice for a young designer with little experience struggling?
I’m not sure if I should apply to positions available already on LinkedIn/Indeed or reach out via email or phone to various firms in the city.
I am doing my best to network but would love some advice.
