[Temp ROOT] FireTV Stick 4K Max 2

A new quick root has been released for the Fire TV Stick 4K Max 2nd Gen, It runs directly on the device to give temporary root access, which can be used to disable app packages and regain control over your device.

Root itself goes away on reboot, but anything you disable stays disabled. With this it's possible to use custom launchers, disable bloatware and block OTA updates (the exploit disables OTAs for you automatically).

This works on the Fire TV Stick 4K Max 2nd Gen on quite a few Fire OS 8 builds, including the latest one: https://xdaforums.com/t/temp-root-firetv-stick-4k-max-2nd-gen-karat.4798627

Rooting a device you own isn't illegal and has nothing to do with piracy, before anyone reports this :)

Help identifying this fledgling bird (Spain)

Found this fledgling on a busy street in Spain. It was hopping around and I observed an adult feeding it.

A local vet advised me to bring it to wildlife authorities because of the traffic. Can anyone identify the species?

EDIT: Yes, I’m fully aware that fledglings should usually be left with their parents if they’re being cared for. I only took it because it nearly got run over by cars multiple times. It’s a very busy street with no nearby trees or bushes where I could move it safely, and I’m fairly sure it would also be at high risk from cats overnight.

Before doing anything, I called a local veterinarian. He contacted the wildlife authorities, who confirmed it’s a protected species and advised me to bring it in because of the immediate danger. The bird will be handed over to the wildlife authorities tomorrow so they can decide whether it can be safely reunited with its parents or if it needs rehabilitation.
