Hi r/Games! I’m Rhunwolf from Raiders World Studio. For Indie Sunday, I’d like to share Armita’s Search - a single-player, story-driven tactical roguelite deckbuilder about growing up in a post-apocalyptic world.
A nine-year-old girl and her pre-war assistant robot cross the Barrens in search of her kidnapped father. The robot is trying to keep her alive among raiders, mutants, and Patrol cyborgs - but survival can change a child.
The game combines Slay the Spire-style deckbuilding with narrative choices that affect the heroine’s Humanity, available actions, relationships, and endings.
A few things we’re focusing on:
- Humanity / Hardening: you can keep Armita merciful, but survival becomes harder; or harden her into someone more brutal, opening new options while closing peaceful ones.
- Tactical card combat: fights use cards, positions, enemy waves, leaders, cover, status effects, and resource-based weapons.
- Companions as mini-decks: recruited characters bring their own small card packages and synergies.
- Story-first roguelite structure: we’re building the prologue now, with the first region, tutorial, new events, enemies, and choices.
We’re currently running a playtest and preparing the prologue build.
We'd be really, really, really grateful if you'd check out our game.
Clean water to you, travelers!
We did it — our game logo has been turned into a 3D-printable model!
Remember when I recently wrote here that we were choosing which character to turn into a miniature? The first model is now ready.
How do you like the result?
We’re releasing the model for free: download it, print it, enjoy it. There are two versions — a single-piece version and a split version for easier printing.

About the game:
Armita's Search is a story-driven game that blends visual novel elements (choices, branching paths, dialogue) with deckbuilding (card collection and tactical turn-based combat).
The core mechanic is moral descent. The main character can try to preserve her Humanity and compassion (but that makes the game much harder), or gradually become more ruthless, making tough decisions — which makes survival easier, but changes the ending.
The game is inspired by Black Book, Slay the Spire, and Banner Saga, with a setting similar to Mad Max / Fallout. It’s based on a tabletop game released in 2017.
Story-wise, a young girl, armed with a robot and her education, tries to survive in the Wastelands and find her kidnapped father. Will her “smart fridge” companion be enough to protect her? And what will she become if she survives?
