I’m a Pakistani who is born and raised in America but I want to eventually move and settle down in Pakistan. Everyone I tell that too thinks I’m being dumb. I’ve been to Pakistan many times before is it really so bad why do people want to move?
Has anyone OE with Accenture is it possible or does it depend on the project. My workload is pretty low but I’ve heard others have a lot of meetings and have to work 60-80 hour weeks. I got an offer recently yay 🥳 after searching for almost a year. What would be considered a good salary for level 9. I verbally accepted the offer because personally I thought it was really good for Texas. Also how common are offers rescinded or people being laid off within 6 months. I’ve been hearing that’s been a trend at top companies and am a little bit worried. Also is there anything I should expect still not entirely sure on some things because it says consultant/team lead but I’ve heard there’s specialist title as well and I was technically hired for the ai niche. Never worked in consulting before I’m a swe.
Edit: also a little nervous since I’ve never been in a consulting firm before and everyone here is talking about crazy hours and bench. Also I have 2 choices for start date but one of them is earlier but I’d have to cancel a trip but the other one is after the bonus cutoff I think may 30 is the cutoff. How likely is it to get the bonus if I’m starting soon is it worth it to skip the trip for it I did some research and pretax it might be like 4k. Only thing I paid for on the trip was a $700 flight that I can get back.
